I know there's a couple of tattoo packages on Nexus but I'm not sure how to install and access them through the Toolset. I'm an admitted Toolset noob.
Usually you just put them in your overrides folder the same way you do anything else. To get them in the toolset once you have a face morph you go to 02. Part Selection -> Scroll down in that section to 3. Tattoo -> 01. Tattoo Mask. To get the tattoo I was using, when you click on tattoo mask you get the menu to choose your files. Choose Filter-> All Tint mask Files (*_0t.dds) and it should show you a lot more files. Once you have all those find the file named "uh_hed_tata_0t" and select it. Nothing will show up until you play around with the opacity though. The different channels will give you different styles. The one I am using is on the 2nd channel of that uh_hed file.

It really does. However, I think, if someone was straddling my chest and stabbing me in the face with a longsword, crotchbiting would feel like a pretty good last ditch strategy. Good thing he's actually wearing armor this time!

Toolset question... is it possible to open the head made at character creation and then edit off of that or do I have to start from scratch?
Unfortunately you have to start from scratch. It would be a lot easier (and way better) if you could modify an already made character.

That's what I thought but I figured I'd ask. Doing the face in the toolset is kinda hard.

Yeah, it is a hassle but there's a lot of fine tuning you can do in the toolset that makes it a lot more rewarding in the end imo

I think someone's grabbing something. There could be a mutual grope going on, but I'm mostly concerned with the combination of her implied hand placement and his expression.

I can't get over how good everyone else is at taking screenshots.
I got a couple of good ones, but most end up terrible. Only reason I manage is because I have a program that records everything I copy to the clipboard. That way I can spam the screenshot key and go back through to see if any turned out.
Means I managed to get this:

But for every good shot, there's a whole bunch of:

You mean the matchy match or the implied PDA? On dressing alike, it can get pretty bad since I'm devoted to medium armor for both of them, especially in the beginning when matching sets are limited to what you can buy from the Quartermaster at Ostagar. I cling to those sets like grim death until I can get a total upgrade.
Of course, there's really no excuse for something like this:

PC: Why didn't he wear his good armor? Maybe we should have consulted each other before we left the house this morning.

On another note, I finally hooked up xbox live for the first time (yes, I am behind the times), and got 3 of my characters to upload here to the site. BUT, the portraits didn't upload. I'm sad

Just Print Screen. I used to be a hardcore Sims player and would photo-document that inanity, so I have a bit of practice.
I found that obsessive pausing and luring certain enemies to areas where there are objects or buildings will help. The camera won't go behind some things and, if you're lucky, you can use this to get close-ups or cool angles (like the up from below shots).

A couple of tips, from a fellow console player (PS3).
Characters only upload after manual saves.
When you make a manual save, don't check your profile for at least an hour or two. I actually will do the save at night and not check until the next morning. That tends to get most things uploaded.
For me, once a profile won't upload, I can't get to ever again. So I'm super-careful when designing PCs now - won't save if it doesn't log in before character creation, refuse to check the site until the next morning, etc.
I've gotten all my last ones to upload, but alas, my favorite characters were my early ones. That's actually a major reason my canon Dalish girl got a second playthrough, so I could upload her picture to the site.

Seeing how this thread has stagnated for a bit, I guess I should post a provocative pic (note, this is only for joking purposes and not to be taken seriously. I just want to test a new meme I discovered. So don't kill me lol).
This is actually pretty funny. There are a couple of good "walking away" shots that could be used for the second image (like in Redcliffe and at the Landsmeet). That pic of him from Ishal is hilarious though, he just looks so offended.
Top of the page picture. Ummm, it's just after midnight here so something a tiny bit racy?
