There's a fair bit of irony in the fact Loghain promised Anora to Cailan at birth considering that's how Rowan and Maric became betrothed.

As for the Queen epilogue in Awakening I'm pretty sure it's just a bug in the scripting. Awakening has a lot of bugs after all. It wouldn't make sense that Alistair would be willing to run off with his mistress and not his Queen. So, either it's a bug on the mistress side or the Queen side.

I'm curious, does anyone have a HNM that they've played through Awakening with? What is the epilogue card regarding returning to Court/Anora?

I'm sorry it didn't work for you Addai It does for me (at least so far).  I've had Ali in shadow warden now for a bit on my current run through though I am about to pick up the WC armor and then will be picking up zev soon and he will be wearing them then.  Its working out well but he looks so strange in leathers.  It looks good with his coloring but so odd...

Well that is very frustrating, and I had just gotten to like Ali in them for early-game.  It would definitely go to Zevran after that.  I'll have to try it again.

<-- this is the new elf mage, BTW.  It's my Fiona character.  I was going to make Fiona on my last mage PC, but she ended up being a Zev girl.  It was just a bit too much to put a blood mage with Alistair.  I'm not sure what specs this one will get, probably AW/SH.  I'm sort of addicted to Blood Wound at this point, but will have to make do without, unless I take Morrigan with me.  Might do that- I like to run a 2-mage party.

Anora: I realize that my... actions at Howe's estate may not have painted me in the best light. For that I apologize, and hope that we can start again. (Hesitant.  She totally threw the player to the wolves and she'd like him to forget that.)

No, I've heard other people say you can flirt w/ Duncan as a female mage too.  I'm not sure how though.  I've actually never played a mage despite my iconage. 

My best guess would be once you escourt him to his room that you would flirt w/ him there.  I can't think of any other time unless it is later in the library.

There's no competition.

I think has everything to do with the fact that it's so much more *forbidden* for Cullen to lust after the PC than it is for Alistair. I guess, during the Origin, Cullen can come across as endearingly awkward rather than straight up crazypants,but you have to squint a bit.

I think I might have just gained a shred of respect for the woman.   If he marries her, and YOU do the rebuild the wardens thing, does he follow eventually?

Don't bother.   I think she is just trying to play on the Warden's sympathies in hopes of sidelining you.

And yes, Ali follows even when married to Anora.

According to the epilogue in Origin, yes. But I think that card is going off of what the PC is doing and doesn't factor in what Alistair should be doing.
