For a full out romance no. But it is cute in the mage origin to hear the apprentices snarking about your harrowing, when they say he said it was the cleanest harrowing he's ever seen and one snarks "Well of course HE would say that". Then talking to him til he blushes and runs is funnny. But The return? Ugh heartbreaking. I don't think he's creepy at all though.

According to the epilogue in Origin, yes. But I think that card is going off of what the PC is doing and doesn't factor in what Alistair should be doing.

Well he did agree that Anora would rules as before, and he would do army crap. In a way it makes sense he'd help rebuild with you. At least thats the agreement they made when my CEF hooked them up, i just didn't romance him.

I think Cullen attracts attention (and should for a mage) because Templars are usually cold hearted towards the mages and never display much emotion for them. Cullen seems to break the emotional barrier between Templars and mages and that could be interesting for some people. The creepiness factor is kind of meeh when you are in a circle, where they shove demons in you and all that.

If he's hardened, he is a much more active king. He very well could run off to help the PC warden, but it seems a bit strange, considering.

Same here!  My HNF was sputtering in shock when Wynne told her that Alistair had made her court mage.  HNF had gotten Wynne's "you're being selfish and need to give him up for the greater good" talk on the way to RtO, and then to have the old bat cougaring him right before they buried Cailan... let's just say that HNF would rather have had Uldred as court mage.

I think if you don't have Shale's approval high enough, Shale will go to the Deep Roads to fight darkspawn and the royal court gets regaled with tedious lectures for however many years til Wynne kicks off.

Yeah, I only got that once but it was a very "NOOOOOO" moment. Hopefully she does a lot of travelling

So, my  "Fiona" character met Alistair.  There were new things in his dialogues in Ostagar.  I know that some of it is courtesy of the wonderful cmessaz.

They got the whole templar-mage thing out of the way, at least the initial "oh boy, this could be bad" fears on both side.

Warden:  You were a templar?  A mage hunter?
A:  I know you're a mage, but it wasn't my idea.  I was raised in the Chantry.  They decided my fate a long time ago.





And... just what is going on with this comment?!  It's a little strange.  Any clue from the toolset on what's got Ali so discombobulated here?

Warden:  I am indeed a mage.
A: Really?  You don't look like a mage.  Uh, that is... I mean... how interesting.

I really like the restored dialogue about the Joining.  I know some argued that it was redundant information, but that is not the point.  It is different hearing about the dangers of the Joining from a peer, someone who just went through it.  It's an eye-opener to have Ali say, in a tone that lets you know he means it, that he doesn't envy what you're about to go through.

And is this not one of Alistair's cutest moments in-game?

"Would that be so terrible?  Not that I'm some drooling lecher or anything... please stop looking at me like that."

OMG I was hoping it was something like that.  That is hilarious, and sweet.

This mage is going to fall so hard.  She has no chance at all.
