Yes I did.  Within the last couple weeks and I have amazon shape for women.  I like how the guys are shaped to start with but girls needed a little more muscle I felt to heft weapons and wear armor.  Default stick figure women were too wimpy looking for me.

So Natural Bodies makes the women a bit bulkier?  That might be a reason to install it.  I especially don't like the scrawniness of the elves.  I know it's IC for Ferelden elves to be scrawny, malnourished as a race etc. but warrior women ought to have some tone.

I would have to delicately explain to my husband why the game is suddenly full of corpse erections...

actually Amazon curves has been modified from the first time I downloaded it.  Used to be just Human women now you get elf and dwarf women to have a more natural look to them as well. I don't like the big breasts in the main mod but that has to be installed in order to get the Type A optional appearance.  Part of my reasoning was muscles vs scrawny twig arms and part of it was the way the muscles play, a more natural stance etc.  Vanilla models look like they can barely stand up with their limbs askew and kinda bowlegged.  UGH I hated it.  Then I found that mod, it needed natural bodies to work and voila...works out really nice for me.

Lighting probably too. Is the IA thing the face mod? Why did they change SO much for IA for some characters (really put me off the mods) and others with just a little subtlety DO look nice as ever (Alistair case in point)> though I doubt Ali could look ugly even if he tried. His personality would always shine through any disguise.

It's the same Improved Atmosphere Alistair, that a few others in this thread are using. The change really isn't that massive, some of the lines in his face have been removed and his nose is slightly smaller.

Hehe, I've been using it myself for ages. It's great. I'll never play without it again.
I was so pleased to find it because it changed almost nothing, it made him look younger - that's what I wanted.

I was confused because his hair looked so dark on the Redcliffe pic. Must have been the light.

The only companion change I hated was Leliana, so I deleted it, and kept the sacred ashes version. Zev is hawt.

How do you pick and choose which ones you change? Im very computer illiterate.  Is there a menu thats easily discerned?  I like my Leli and Morri with the Sacred ashes mods too.  Would be nice some of the changes but some are just so drastic.  (Bella, Dagna, Eamon etc)

Usually face morph mods come with different files for each character, so whichever characters you don't want to change, just go into their folder and delete the file.


My favorite Leliana mod is the DA Redesigned version--it's similar to Sacred Ashes but with better proportions.

This is true.  So it is Natural Bodies plus Amazon Curves?  LOL at the name, but maybe I'll try it.

yes its Amazon Curves (a separate mod) from NB but it requires NB to work right. And you have to download the Type M I think it is (the main file) and if you prefer less bewbage go with the Type A file as an optional. The bit with huge DD sized boobs and a 24 in waist I don't get. I much prefer a more realistic depiction.

That's the reason I don't download the body builder mod for men. Makes them look like they spend far too much time oiling up their skin and admiring themselves while they pump iron for 4 hours a day in a gym than actually fighting darkspawn. If I caught Alistair doing that crap I would grab him by the ear and drag him out of there.
