It's definitely a barbarian helmet reference, but I can't recall if NBA came before or after. For that part, I was inspired by this:

It helps if you can position your party strategically. When you pause, you can switch between them and try out different angles. In that screenshot, I had Leliana selected and, since she's a bit behind Alistair, the camera allowed me to get closer to him than I would have been able to if he was selected.

Elf mage and Alistair are not quite as much "that couple" as SurelyForth's PC, but Wings of Velvet color-coordinates nicely with the Warden Commander Armor.  It's the little things, really.

Ha, the tinkle on Alistair's shoe would have been more appropriate if you'd named the dog Loghain.

Speaking of Cailan, I took this shot the other day thinking- and this might be a first- that he actually looks pretty sexy here.  I blame it on nranola and that comparison to Maric.  LOL

How do you get your elves to look like people that others would actually take seriously? Mine always look like prepubescent street urchins.

On matching- I like Avernus' robes with the WC set, and Reaper's Vestments go nicely, as well. I'm not going to lie, I would have a squad uniform if I could (so the matching isn't limited to my PC and her LI).

I wanted to honor the memory of our dead king :') He peed on Alistair's shoe because he grew up hearing tales of hero dogs of old who would pee on the feet of the royal family of Ferelden. It was ~glorious~.

I don't like Cailan because of his eyebrows :x

Heh, I don't know.  I tend to go pretty conventional.  I've never played WoW or other RPGs like that, so I have a more naturalistic conception of elves than a lot you see.  Tolkien-type.

We've already left Avernus alive, so no dice on that.  She's not going to be a blood mage anyway.  I downloaded the Haze mod, though, so I'm excited to have some new spells to try out.

I have to admit I started thinking how to make Zevran and Morrigan match us, too.  At least to keep the blue and black theme going.  Sad, really.  LOL  :innocent:  Edit:  If I could get Shadow Warden's Armor to work again on the new character, I'd be halfway there.  Then we could get Reaper's Vestments for Morrigan and we're off to the races.

I completely gave up on trying to make my elves look even remotely normal. All shall love me and despair!!!

I think it is a combination of the voice and the stuff being said in that voice. It's all very silly.
