I'd have to imagine there's a certain amount of angst/grief sex with Alistair in the game. Like after RtO. Lots of grief sex right there.

Grief sex?  Is that when you cry afterwards (or during ).

Sounds... bad.

I think the crying is before.

Its also the excuse Kendall uses on All My Children for screwing around with other guys while she is married to Zack. Damn Charles Pratt...

*Facepalms* and now I just pictured grief/guilt sex with Cullen of all people...now THAT is scary...Posted Image

I think that's the only kind of sex Cullen will be getting.

lo, yes, before. You're all upset and distraught and it naturally leads to awesome sex.

Can you just picture it? Cullen all freaked out and waving his sword around afterward and screaming the filthy blood mage got in his head and made him do it?Posted Image  Serious WTF moment for me...

The templar Cullen is AS creepy as the same-named abusing, sparkling pixie fairy from twilight for me.

Ugh.

Never got the fascination with the Cullen/Amell lovethingie.

Edit:  Uh... somehow I erased your quote but you were asking about getting angry Teagan from sacrificing Isolde.

No, you'll get angry Alistair, but not angry Teagan or Eamon.  But do try it at least once.  You know how you talk about tragic beauty?  Isolde begging you to let her do the deed on Connor... yeah...

I'm a lydlyd fan as y'all know, so here's another.

Posted Image

I actually do the Isolde sacrifice about half the time now.  It depends on how pragmatic my Warden is.  I consider it the pragmatic choice.

Maybe it's so they can seek comfort for their heartbreak with the more realistic relationship with the almost-Templar Alistair?

Yeah, I don't get it either. I find him amusing but definitely a creep. It is hilarious when he runs away from you, though.

How do you get this? When I talked to him in the Mage origin he just mentioned that he was assigned to kill me if I sucked and then I was forced to say I was sorry for distracting him. Were you supposed to choose the 'would you really have killed me' option or something?

If you play a female mage there's a line that I cannot recall right now, but it's basically propositioning him. He gets really flustered and runs away from you.

Yes, if you choose would you really have killed me, then ask to go somewhere private...then you can tell him you see the way he looks at you, or you should get to know each other better.

I don't find him creepy at all honestly. He's a templar, but shows the human side, having a crush on Ms Amell. The whole tower knows about it too, so it's not like a creepy stalker crush, and they do not talk nicely about YOU because of it. I can see the sweet side of it, you finding out you're the only thing he every wanted...and the pain it caused him. And...it's Anders voice, that isn't bad either.

I did play as an EMF and I heard that there was but I somehow missed the right dialogue option to get it. Does anyone remember what you were supposed to say to lead into him implying he liked you? Because honestly, if it hadn't been for the gossip and the metagaming the conversation I had with him would have just made me think he was painfully shy.

As I recall, the lines are something like:
Hello Cullen.
Would you really have killed me?
Why don't we go and discuss this somewhere more privately?
I see the way you look at me.
*Cullen heads for the hills*

But you can tell that he's got a crush on your PC, even if you don't use the stronger come-on lines.  If you tell him that you're distracting him, he gets flustered again and says you can come talk to him anytime.  It would be sweet if I didn't know that it gets really creepy later.

Cullen: Oh, um, h-hello. I... uh, am glad to see your Harrowing went smoothly.
PC: Hello, Cullen.
Cullen: Th-they picked me as the templar to strike the killing blow if...if you became an abomination. I-It's nothing personal; I swear! I... uh, I'm just glad you're all right. You know.
PC: Would you really have struck me down?
Cullen: I would've felt terrible about it.... But... but I serve the Chantry and the Maker, and I will do as I am commanded.
PC: Maybe we could go elsewhere and... continue our discussion?
Cullen: Elsewhere? What do you mean?
PC: We should get to know each other OR I've seen the way you look at me...
Cullen: Oh, my goodness. If you're saying... what I think... that would be really... inappropriate and.... I couldn't. I-I should go.

So, what do you think Alistair is thinking when you encounter the desire demon who's got the templar ensorcelled?  The note on that guy's body if you end up killing him is so sad.

I don't think it's a coincidence that you see them shortly before you go into the Fade and eventually, if Ali is in the party, see his Fade dream.  It makes it all the more heartbreaking, in fact.  I suspect we are meant to see what Alistair might have become if he had not been recruited out of the templars.

PC:  You seem very... content.
A:  I am.  I'm happier than I've been my entire life.  Isn't that strange?  I thought being a Grey Warden would make me happy, but it didn't.  This does.
Posted Image

PC:  You're living with your sister?
A:  There's nothing wrong with living with my sister.  I've never had a real family before.
Posted Image

PC:  You weren't meant for a quiet home life.
A: People can change, can't they?  You'll want to settle down somewhere quiet, too, Grey Warden or no.
Posted Image

Then he tells you he's not leaving and to come visit him anytime.  :(

Yeah, I did it this afternoon, but didn't see anything creepy. I saw a templar that actually showed human  temptations and emotions, and desires.  It was sad. Especially with Alistair there, since he'll tell you in conversation  he was present at a harrowing. That kind of tells me he would have been a templar at the circle, it's not a far stretch to think that could have been him if not for Duncan. I think Alistair would have crushed on a mage. The creepy templars are to me, the robots...like at the doors.
