I want the real Anders. Not Alistair dressed up as Anders. Going with this one instead.

I know. My first couple of playthroughs I liked him fine. Then I spoke to Anora and found out that it was Eamon who kept Alistair from court in the first place, that Cailen wouldn't have minded. Then you find out that Alistair slept in the stables (or something to that effect) And Alistair is so very insecure, you can't help but wonder.

LadyDamodred has hitteth the nail on the head.

In the thrall of my Eamon hate, I pondered taking away my fic dealing with him, but then thought better of it.  I can make his actions work in my head, it just kinda irritates me that it's not more clear in the game.

Yeah. I can understand his actions if I think about them a certain way, but then I am overcome with the emotional side that is all "OH HALE NAW, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU :crying:" about it.

I'd like to think at least one of my characters chewed him out for it.  Ironically, it probably be my tough as nails city elf.  She might be stone cold, but you don't do that to a kid.

Yeah, I just think that whatever his motivations or however he truly felt toward Alistair it is still messed up to take in a kid and treat him in such a manner. At the end of the day whatever Eamon's true feelings his actions still weren't right.

Watch out for this, though.  I wouldn't put it past Anora to be whispering in everyone's ear things that will undermine their confidence in the other guy.

That, and if he is indeed Fiona's child...tis was done at her request, and thereby Maric's request.

Yeah, I have no problems with Alistair having been kept out of court.  Its the undermining of his self-confidence and that he believes that he has no self-worth because of the way that he was raised that just kills me, and THAT is Eamon's fault, intentional or not.

Lady-thats the point. Tryin new morphs on everyone this time through. Don't like it much, but honestly there aren't very many morphs out there that actually look decent for Alistair.

Santigress-that is EXACTLY my point. The man has no self confidence. A man like that was not raised well.

Why do you want to mess with perfection?  :x

I like that ending but I won't use that playthrough if i'm going to be playing Awakenings.  I got to get my Alistair fix in Awakenings too lmao

Oh, I mean make him king but your PC goes off to rebuild the Wardens.  I figure that once Amaranthine is established, you can come back to Denerim and base yourself out of there.  And if you do that, Ali comes to be by your side etc.

Just to add new flavor. I don't know. I'll likely wind up deleting the morphs.

A little NBA versus the demons.  The rest of my shots had to be censored thanks to the newly installed Natural Bodies.  It makes me worry for the future of the Theirin line to see him like that.  Somehow that little scrap of underwear seemed less dangerous.  :D

Since my mage is a freezy specialist, she also has to be careful when the NBA is working his magic.  One badly placed Cone of Cold and...  :?

I was on the recieving end of that cone of cold this time around, and realized just how annoyed I was making poor Alistair. I said "Dammit Morrigan!" more times than I can count.

I need advice. I have NEVER sided with the templars. And I know that if I do, bye bye connor or Isolde. I am romancing Alistair, but I really want to try this. How should I handle?

So if you don't tell Ander's in Awakenings your going back to court, but that your going to stay with the Wardens you get a different ending card even if your married to Alistair???

I've never done it either but if the Circle is annulled their really is no other option and so that might soften his anger. I think you can talk him down to just losing a few approval points if you're contrite about it and it won't break the romance.

That is what I am wondering. If I do the circle tower first, then how could he get pissed! I REALLY want to kill Isolde. I finally kept Zathrian alive this last time, I had never done that before either.

I had a thought for all of you Anora execution proponants. Wouldn't it seem likely that she probably died during the seige of Denerim?

If you kill Connor she'll show up and try to stop you. You can punch her to knock her out.

I assume that she was moved when they found out the horde was coming.  Really important political prisoners should not be left to be eaten by darkspawn.

She's not important anymore. It would be a slide that could be added to avoid pissing too many people off.

I think if you use this line, "I think it turned out rather well, don't you?"  you won't lose any approval with him.  I'm not sure cause I've never tested it myself but it you want to go that route then try that line.

I head that too. I am a mage, so I really want to see what happens if I side with the Templars.

If you let Isolde sacrifice herself, then when Alistair approaches you in camp you can tell him "That went well, didn't it?" or whatever that line is, and he won't chew you out.  Personally though, I always pick what the character would say, regardless of loss of approval.  That's what gifts are for....

ETA: I was ninja'd ...but I've done this before, and I think even gained approval.  If you do it pre-Circle, I think it might also help to not let anyone else mention any other possible solutions, just stick with killing Isolde or killing Connor.

But was it Eamon that did it? Or The Chantry? He tells you the chantry knew, and he was all of 10 years old when he got there, and what...about 20(?) when you meet him, having only been recruited 6 months before. It would be just as easy to assume that yes Eamon (actually I blame Isolde) made him sleep in the stables, and convinced him he was a commoner, and in no way in line for the throne...but that the 10 or so years in the chantry damaged his self esteem that badly. And yeah Eamon sent him there, but again...Isolde...witch that she is, had a large part in that.

Aww I missed an Eamon is a dick conversation.  Eamon is not only a dick he's a conniving dick, no matter if you make yourself Chancellor he somehow worms his way in as Alistair's second by Awakening.

Eamon and Isolde both sound so incredibly insincere when they thank the PC too for going out of his/her way to say Isolde and Connor both.
