Little off topic here, I'm trying to create a morph for a human noble female that sort of resembles her parents. Bryce has blue eyes, Eleanor green, right? And both of their hair is grey, but I'm wondering what color of hair they had when they were younger. I'm trying to get a picture in my mind of how they both would have looked 10-15 years ago.

Yes, Eleanor has green, Bryce has blue, Fergus has brown... Wait a minute...

I would imagine they had dark hair, since we can see Fergus's is dark.

True. But I don't necessarily like my female Cousland being dark haired. But not blonde either. I think maybe Bryce's blue eyes, and maybe medium brown hair. I'm trying my best to match facial features. Hey I didn't know Bryce had a following to be king after Maric died! Is that in a book somewhere?

@Addai- I forgot to comment on your screenie earlier. I'm used to seeing Alistair in medium to the heaviest set of armor, so seeing him in light armor is a refreshing change. It's hard picturing him as a rogue though... I tend to associate light armor to rogues. xD

Curiously enough, I discovered a couple of voice clips of Alistair doing stealth. It's really quite endearing. xD

Alistair: I'm... Mr. Stealth...!
Alistair: You want me to what? BE QUIET?

I believe Dairren mentions it. It may have been mentioned by someone else as well. I'm not sure.

Me, I'm fond of dark hair on my Couslands. I go for the darkest shade, usually. My HNF rogue went for the shade one step lighter than Fergus's. It just didn't feel right any lighter than that.

Yeah one step down from Fergus is what I'm thinking. I don't want to be the blonde delicate one.  I am putting a small and discreet tattoo on her face, just be make her tougher looking, sort of like she rebels against the whole pretty noble girl image.

It was mentioned in the game, when you talk to Dairren. He says that the townsfolk were saying that Bryce should have been made king instead of Cailan, but it might have just been spoken out of affection for him. Teyrns are also second only to the king so inheriting the throne doesn't seem that far off.

How do you get Dierren to say that? He's never said that to me!

So I can't help but think this: If the Cousland's are so important, then why does his son/daughter not have more say at the landsmeet? You would think that being a Cousland would give you some aide in that department.

"Let's talk about me. I like that topic." then, "What have you heard about me, exactly?" should trigger the dialogue. He basically tells you how awesome possum the Couslands actually are. Sad how things turned out for them. :(

Hrm. I am looking over Dairren's lines in the toolset and don't recall seeing some of these. Gonna have to check it out and see if maybe I was just dumb and missed stuff.

Because your family has been stripped of its title and lands.  :(

Not really because they would accept you as queen...
And not really stripped of title. More like robbed of title.

Same here; it's not what my Cousland girl would usually say, not unless she was being playful. That, and I like me my dialogue. 8D

Another thing I find odd... doesn't the Human Noble have any relatives? They can't be the only living Cousland family in all of Thedas, could they?

I have wondered the same thing. The Cousland codex doesn't explain enough. Surely there are cousins. I was surprised about what Avernus has to say about the Couslands in Warden's keep!

You have no say at the Landsmeet as the Teyrna of Highever.  Your authority comes from being a kickass Grey Warden who has gathered an army.  Yes, they accept you as queen because you are from a noble family.  If you marry Alistair, I think it goes without saying that he will restore your rights.  Same for the HNM.  Both restore the rights to Fergus if you sacrifice yourself.  Howe took your lands, and Loghain stripped your family of the rights and granted them to Howe.

Stupid bastard. Plus, if Alistair refuses the marriage, you have the option of saying that you are "Teyrna of Highever so it's a good political match" so obviously at the point when you kill Howe, you get your title back.

At first my HN would always side with Avernus because of what he says about the Couslands. Until I played through and used different dialogue and found out WHY my relatives were meeting with him, the real reason.

She would have done it anyway, though. Maric suggests she leave the Wardens, and she outlines why it's not possible. *shrugs* It's really very sad. I don't place the blame with the GW on that one. In fact, I'm rather surprised they let her place the baby where she wanted. They didn't have to do that.

??  They could just take the baby from her?  How so?  If this is the case, I might have to start hating the GWs as much as the Chantry.

Edit:  Argh, top of the page again.  LOL  DeviantArt to the rescue, and my favorite fanart of Alistair thus far... I like all of lydlyd's stuff.

It is very much a work in progress, as I just started it a couple hours ago, and I went for  walk and stuff, so I only have 3 pages atm.  It is in a very early stage.  This won't be ready for awhile.

Hehe, thanks.  Might I ask what in particular made you swoon?

I suppose this would be a good place as ask for a proofreader.  My brain has a tendancy to auto-correct, so I miss stupid little stuff.  A fresh pair of eyes would be very helpful, both for general editing and to let me know areas that need smoothing out.
