I was trying to get an elven body that looked less like she'd just gotten off a cattle car at Auschwitz and a little more like she might actually be able to pick up a sword.cmessaz wrote...
But if there is no woodies, whats the point? Unless you use BSC for your romantic pleasures.

Heeey.. I adore Jowan >.<
Well, I can't say I adore him, but I'm one of the few who doesn't hate his guts. High five?
I just started my third mage a few nights ago and, rather than ratting him out to Irving like I did with the other two, I took his side this time and genuinely tried to help him. Oddly, I found Jowan far less annoying with this approach than I had when I was setting him up. It also made Gregoir's tantrum and my PC subsequently leaving the Circle for the Wardens make more sense.
I was still mad that Jowan lied about the blood mage thing though. <_<
Of course he lied, admitting that you dabbled in blood magic is a death sentence. He did it primarily because he thought it might give him an edge in escaping, though I doubt what ultimately happened is what he had in mind. He panicked.Serissia wrote..
Jowan is the equivalent of that friend
that asks you to help move furnature and use your truck/gas and then
gives you a six pack at the end of the day as a reward.
A friend is a friend. Storywise, you grew up with him, and have been close enough friends for long enough for Jowan to talk about you non-stop to Lily. He obviously admires you, and he never wanted anything bad for you and Lily. Things went south, it happens. It isn't good, and it was very stupid on his part, but he was fighting for his freedom, and his soul.
I was glad to help him, I wasn't about to let them make him tranquil, it's a crime against humanity.
He was my PC's friend for 15 years or more and they spent a lot of time together.. yes he screwed up hard, but he's still my friend and I will still support him, which is why I release him from the dungeon later almost every time. Friends stick together, no matter what.
Jowan is a good person who made some terrible mistakes. I am willing to give him a second chance.. if only I could conscript him and give him a real opporitunity to prove himself...
Catching up on posts since I took a mid afternoon nap so I apologize and ignore what I am typing if anyone else addressed this already
Actually Jowan learning blood magic had NOTHING to do with escaping. He did that before he had met Lily or had any notion of getting away. If you ask Teagan to let you execute him and go down to the basement and ask Jowan he will tell you WHY he started doing it. I would post more on it but only if someone asks. its kind of spoilerific for his one best (IMO) moment in the game. You don't even have to execute him, you can "change your mind" and they will hold him till Eamon wakes up.
Jowan seriously dicked you over (If you help him out of the goodness of your heart) using emotional blackmail and your friendship as the crowbar to get what he wanted. Granted the boy makes BAD BAD decisions but WHAT did he think would happen to you once he and Lily got away? Did he think the Circle would be all "Oh well you let a maleficar escape" bad bad you *Slap on wrist* ummm no. Even if you betray him he comes to realize that his problems were all his make and he forgives you for it, blames himself.
Furthermore Jowan KNOWS he IS lying to you when he says "Im not a blood mage" knowing FULL well he is. He's not an innocent victim here. If he studied it hoping to get an edge in escaping maybe I could forgive him but that wasn't his reason for learning it.

Right the uncle thing. Ok this is a little creepy.
I initially though Alisterianism was just a harmless fanatical cult.
But now I am getting scarred.![]()
What else did you think would happen?
You weren't under the impression that Alistair fangirls were somehow...wholesome and normal, did you?
Well maybe not entirely normal. But I thought the real weirdos went to Leliana more(I am joking Aisynia)
Straight male weirdos, and perhaps some female weirdos, yes. But Alistair is a friggin beacon to demented perverted reprobates such as myself.

THAT impression died for me the minute I read about vajazzling here. I'm still amazed that such a thing actually exists!
LOL! That was me. You're quite welcome for the enlightenment, btw

I went into DA Modmanager and you can see NBAIO in the override list. Right-click on it and there's an option called "Config." That gives you drop-down menus where you can set the various, um, parts.LadyDamodred wrote...

Huh. And here was I thinking I should ask, innocently, how precisely each of you would prefer to do it with Alistair. But I've changed my mind.
I am going to leave you weirdos and go to my beloved...witch...that lived alone with her mother in the forest...and can shapeshift into animals....and had participated in her mother's manhunts....and....
