I'm kind of surprised that he would openly flirt with an elf in a discussion about marriage though.  Can nobles marry elves?  Isn't that frowned upon?

OMG you didn't see the cutscene with Teagan and Loghain.  You can SEE the rebel in him.  Had he been older I think HE would have been the Hero of Riverdane.  Teagan does several rebel things in the course of the game.  I think if he wanted to marry an elf/mage he damn well would and HELL to anyone who denied him.  
Man I can't believe I missed Teagan commentary earlier...

Haha true enough.  Don't worry about missing a teagan convo, I'm sure more will pop up. After a366 pages people must be running out of Alistair stuff to talk about by now.
Also I think the hate aimed at SA Morrigan is just veiled jealousy since Alistair didn't make the trailer.

Yes, you have to harden him and you will only get the resolute Alistair response to the "where is this going" talk after the Landsmeet, but after he's hardened you can still get him to agree that he won't let you go.

Yeah Teagan strikes me as the kind of person to say "I love this person, so I'm marrying her. Get over it". Which adds to the already incredible sexy factor.

Not in my case. Morrigan is probably my second favorite companion after Alistair. I just don't like her SA look, she looks gorgeous in-game IMO.

But they should have put Alistair in the trailer too, lol.

Yes, and yes, to both questions. You must harden him pre-landsmeet, and yes, post landsmeet, you get his little "you aren't getting away that easily" line.

Just did it on my last playthrough as a dwarf commoner.

Are you using DA Modder or DAOModmanager? I found DAOModmanager more intuitive for NB. Just drag it onto the program to install it and it will show up in the second column. Then just right click it and hit "configure" and a menu will pop up.

Even if he's marrying "it"? thats awesome...thank you. I think someone said it's also best to take the "returning to the wardens" option, because chancellor bcomes unnecessary. But I'm thinking about staying in Denerim anyhow.

sweeeet. I think for my elven mage this is the best option. It keeps Eamon out of the picture, Anora knows about you from the start, and has no interest in Alistair as anything other than a figure head as long as she has her precious power. As for her little jab that her and Cailan started out that way, well...we know that's BS since he had mistresses too...lol

Besides, Morri's spider ability was a lot awesomer in that trailer than in game...

I mostly agree with this.  The only problem is, were any of those characters anything like that in the game?  No.  It would have been just as much of a stretch to make Alistair as badass as Leli in the trailer.
