SurelyForth, you're a goddess.  DW Alistair is sooo sexy.  He's not even dual-longsword yet, but Maker, that DW sweep in his hands is poetry.  He also gets a lot of shatters on her CoC casting.  I have his tactics set to Riposte my mage's target, and quite often it's BLAM.  Ice chips.

We just had the most awesome battle in Redcliffe castle:  Mage freezes, Alistair moves in and shatters the first undead, then out of nowhere comes Shale's Hurl and flings the rest of them to oblivion.  Awesome.  I was LOL'ing it was so beautiful.  I'm not sure screenshots could do any justice.

I respecced Alistair as a DW for my mage too and it truly is ~glorious~. Combined with Zevran as archer and my dog Cailan destroying everything battles end so quickly it is ridiculous. My character is an arcane warrior and I gave her the Soul Calibur mod twohander for a bit.... it's pretty funny to see a little elven mage swinging a sword bigger than her

Also, an expansion for your Calling would be awesome.  It would drive people insane b/c there's NO WAY to win.  *giggles*  There would just be more and more monsters of higher and higher difficulty until you finally fall and get a neat lil epilogue.

I just assumed since the Warden pulls off a Darth Revan at the end of Awakening, that depending on how much time had passed, that's where they went. I'd assume Alistair would of went with them too since they drank the blood so close together.
Makes me sad if that did happen, thinking about Dragon Age 2 and having no Alistair if it takes place after that. <_<

And since you mentioned The Calling, that reminds me... I got the book a few days back when my internet died to keep me occupied until it got hooked back up (just a few chapters away from finishing it hurr), and now I see what some of you were saying some pages back. From his humor to his willingness to give up his own happiness for the best interest of Ferelden, Alistair truly is Maric's son through and through.

I wish I could have read Stolen Throne first, but sadly it's not in stock in any of the stores I went to.

I should go back and continue reading The Stolen Throne, but I had a nightmare of Loghain wearing tight pants last night because of a line in the book and I am scared of what lies ahead.

IMO younger Alistair -> NO BEARD FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Older Alistair -> Ok, you can keep it. But get a haircut.

Yeah.  I'd like to see him with a different haircut.  Perhaps...Teagan's hair?  :x

Edit:  Interesting note:  His coronation scene did not have bearded Alistair and it made Duncan's Beard voice over weirdly glitchy.

The Alistair mhr isn't fully editable so, I'd have to plug in the values to a new morph and see if it turned out to look like him. If you put Duncan's beard on w/o long hair it will look like the beard is clipping since it doesn't fit his face correctly. Duncan has a wider jaw than Alistair.

Ya having Alistair as a DW is awesome, especially when you're both a DW and your moves are in sinc with each other.  Pure poetry .  I love it, and I'm afraid that Alistair maybe stuck being a DW from now on lmao.
