Yeah, Bleach is long.  It's finally out of filler, and dear god was this latest filler awful.  I'm sort of required to watch it every week as it's hard to fansub without doing so, but I feel your pain.  XD

To steer the conversation back into Alistair territory, I've been wondering about one particular line he says in the game. It's when you start up the conversation about him being raised by Eamon. If you ask him if he knows who his real father is he mentions that his father died well before his mother did. But... wouldn't that mean Cailan acquired the throne at a very young age? Which wouldn't be right because he married Anora a month after Maric died, which was five years before the start of Origins.

Did Alistair lie when he said that? Was there something I overlooked? Or did I do a math fail again?

I still read the chapters of both Bleach and Naruto every couple weeks, but I'd have to say that's one of the first few times a fanbase just ruined a series for me.

More so for Naruto, a lot of the hardcore fans are just ridiculous.

Maric only died 5 years ao, that's not in question.  He's lying to you, probably to make sure you don't ask any problematic questions.  I assume the ability to ask him this disappears once you go to Redcliffe, correct?

Well.. Alistair is supposed to be anywhere from 16-21 years old according to everything that people have seemed to gather about his age and that's young.

Nobody even knows who his mother actually even is.

Either he is trying to throw you off, or it is part of his bitterness towards his father that he considers him dead from before his birth for essentially abandoning both him and his mother.

Ah, you do a fansub? I used to help with scanning and editing manga sometimes, it was a pain in the bum. I can only imagine how time consuming fansubs are... I'm gonna have to agree about fandom having a hand in my dropping the series, I got caught in a ridiculous Ichigo/Rukia vs. Ichigo/Orihime battle on LiveJournal once (I wasn't on either side) and got the hell right out after that.

Ok, since I failed to produce last page's top-of-the-page drool shot (or was it 2 pages ago?  anyway...), I'll post this one which also illustrates the good and bad of Natural Bodies as I see it.

Good:

• My HNF's hand looks proportional and not like a baseball mitt.
• Alistair arm hair, OMG!!  <3 
• No silly bra

Bad:

• They really should do something about the neck thing.  Looks terrible, and in vanilla game the amulet chain looks so natural.  I might have to get rid of the mod just for that.
• For tmp's scene, having a bra in this shot her makes it look like he's trying to get it off, which is cute.  But that is a small thing.

I'm gonna have to agree about fandom having a hand in my dropping the series, I got caught in a ridiculous Ichigo/Rukia vs. Ichigo/Orihime battle on LiveJournal once (I wasn't on either side) and got the hell right out after that.

I've seen just as many Naruto/Sasuke, Naruto/Sakura, Naruto/Hinata, Sakura/Sasuke... dare I go on?

I used to have a friend who loved Naruto and she was always ranting about people who fought over Sasuke/Naruto vs. Nauto/Sasuke. There are epic wars over the same damn pairing just because of who gets to top. Sigh.

Alright, after having finished Redcliffe, I've come to the conclusion that the best reason for sparing that village is that it produces the sexiest men in Ferelden.  Alistair, Teagan, Ser Perth and a few of his other knights.... am I missing any?  I bet Bevin is going to grow up into a looker, too.

Even the men that aren't that sexy are at least kind and gentlemanly.  Murdock is gruff and says stupid stuff, but I still like him.  Owen loves his daughter to pieces.  I know people here hate Eamon, but he's courtly and fairly good at heart, too.

Not Redcliffe stock, it doesn't count. But then again, neither would Alistair if his mum's not from Redcliffe. Even if he's 100% correct with his thoughts about his mother, there's no guarentee she's from Redcliffe too. Actually I'd rather doubt it.

Ahhh, Manga/anime conversations <3 I was into those to and loved Skip Beat and Saiunkoku Monogatari... Well but then a game came out which ate my brain and free time completely. It is called something with Dragon if I remember correctly
