It can't be repeated enough that feeding Loghain to the Archdemon and sending Alistair to exile makes continuity a non-issue in Awakening, if you feel inclined to overlook Oghren's attitude.

I don't know, I don't think it'd be so bad if it weren't so buggy and you could actually TALK to your party members instead of listening to them ramble on about trees and statues.

Well, I agree with you there. I was just saying I wouldn't want to carry a playthrough with the redeemer/Alistair dead or exiled ending into any future expansion. So if that ending cleans up continuity errors it doesn't matter much to me since I wouldn't want to play any more of it.

Actually...it might even justify Oghren's attitude a bit.

It's only for Awakening. As I said, I keep a backup ending for later because I don't think exiled Alistair will ever show up again and that's so not what I would want.

After I got done doing the Landsmeet breakup, I was almost ready to go back and play the exile and execution outcomes.  I couldn't do it.  I could only manage the recruit Loghain/marry Anora ending, and that was bad enough.  Man, Alistair is pissed.

The worst part was probably seeing Anora sashay into the room after the Landsmeet instead of Alistair striding in.
