Probably for the best. If Leliana's there she goes postal and unless she's hardened and you talk her down she makes you kill her.Ah. I've never destroyed the ashes, and I probably never will. Thanks.

Yes, I took whatever option got the bit about Alistair sulking upstairs. What does she say if you tell her "he's had a bad day"?SurelyForth wrote...

Even though Alistair doesn't come, I liked that scene. Unlike certain other people I could mention *cough*Isolde*cough* she thanks you for saving her father and it seems sincere. She does mention that Alstair is upstairs sulking and reminding her of Cailan but, well, he does go up and sulk if you marry him to Anora and make Loghain a Warden. You are so right. I don't think, in all the times I've made her queen, that I have done anything more than Esc that entire conversation. I have literally no idea what she says, or what my PC is saying. I could very well be agreeing to marry Loghain and I would never know.
Is that what she says there? I know I always say that he's had a bad day.
Oh, agreed. But I would still have to say that he's at his best in the "I don't intend to let you get away" talk. There, you get determined Alistair, which is very similar to angry Alistair, but you get to keep him afterwards. In fact, you get to tackle him and have your way with him, which I'm sure is just what DEF did.I don't think Cailan can sulk half as hotly as Alistair Post-Landsmeet. I call it the Hotness Conundrum- he's at his best when he's really angry, but when he's at his angriest, the PC can't have him.

She's unsympathetic that he's choosing just then to sulk as it's very unprofessional and when there's a Blight ravaging the country and if you don't stop it everyone will be having quite a lot of bad days.Yes, I took whatever option got the bit about Alistair sulking upstairs. Ooh, you're right on that account. He is pretty Hotly Determined at that point.

I did it with Leliana and Wynne in the party. It was *shakes head* glorious!
Of course, I reloaded as soon as I went inside and unlocked Reaver, but still.

Well, she has a point about that, but it doesn't make me want me puke any less at the sight of her. She also is being pretty insensitive to you if she knows, as in the case of my Warden, that the two of you were lovers.Sarah1281 wrote...

I actually braced myself with enough brainbleach and searched for such a fic at ff.net...and found nothing. Thanks the Maker, we are safe for now. Phew.Skadi_the_Evil_Elf wrote...
The only thing that could compare to the evil of Cammen with The Beard, is maybe an Alistair/Loghain slash fic.
Which, knowing the cesspool that is FF Net, I'm sure someone's already got that in the works.
Though I can't guarantee the same when looking at adultfanfiction, where really, really sick things happening.
Edit: Oh look, what is here Almost direct under that is also an Alistair/Cailan 'story'...
Sorry I have to go vomit now.

I was the luckiest gamer in the world that I didn't have either of them with me. I defiled the ashes out of necessity (first time playing on normal difficulty, low on health poultices and no healer in the group). It was either defile the ashes or die at the hands of the cultists. Having one or two of party turn on me at the point would have been the end- I had a hard enough time with the Guardian.
PS. Alistair!

I am really hoping my mage gets that. I'm so nervous about her planned ending I haven't been playing her. She's a wiley little elf, she knows she can't marry him, she knows he would be a good king (better than Anora solo), and that Anora for all her snark, isn't interested in him, or heirs, she just wants to make Celeste feel inferior. But she knows the two together would keep Eamon's fat nose out of their business, and they'd be good for ferelden. So, she intends to arrange the political marriage..
I'm stuck there. I don't know which boon (I'm thinking title...nobles have plenty of reason to hang around court...hehe) and I'll probably choose "I think you'll need me" in nthe post coronation Alistair convo? I dunno...

I would either choose Chancellor or to free the Circle. The relationship card is always the same if you choose to stay in Denerim. If my PC isn't Chancellor, I imagine she's his personal bodyguard or something (I really couldn't imagine anyone better for the job, to be honest).

Ugh that's the second story I've come across where Alistair's being abused like that. Almost like some people have it out for the guy and in the wrong way. That's just wrong. I'm almost leary now about reading these fanfics lol.

Any more eyebrow, or any more lower lip, and the monkey noises in camp that night would probably have been truly unbearable. I can almost see the look on Wynne's face. LOL

Imagining Wynne's disgust at my HNF's behavior probably netted Alistair at least 25% more, uh, fun.
Hey, if you know everyone in camp is listening in, you might as make it worth their while, right?
