I got captured by Cauthrien and I picked out my rescuers which were Alistair and Sten

But the problem was is it was just Alistair doing the rescuing lol

This is after he convinced the gaurds why he was there, litereally talking to himself lmao:

This is Alistair trying to convince the Captain:

And this is Alistair trying to figure out how hes going to distract the gaurds in the room with the balista's:

This whole thing was just rediculously funny. I lmao doing this because even though I had choosen Sten to help it seemed the game wanted Alistair to be doing it all by himself lmao. A real Knight in shinning armor I guess
Btw I reloaded this, the first time it was Zev that I had to help with Alistair on the rescue so I reloaded and choose Sten. Still just Alistair all by himself doing the rescue both times.

Mages are OP... I did the mage intro on Nightmare w/o even having to heal.

It's a stupid place to RP, but there you go.

I really need to try this out some time, maybe with my mage. They're the default team that comes to your rescue if you decide to break out yourself, right?sylvanaerie wrote...
lol I like Zevran and Dog best but there are so many different combos you can do. Morri and Leli as chantry priestesses is a crack up too.
What I'm really itching to see though is the Zevran and Oghren rescue. I read the banter they get into somewhere in the forums and it was HILARIOUS! x'D Moreso in-game, I bet! I'm saving that up for my CE replay.

Yes, that's pretty much it. The way game works is something like that: your character is composed of 3 individual parts -- the bulk of body, forearms and legs from the knees down (also head but that's irrelevant atm and slightly more complicated too) For these 3 "slots" the game has collection of different 3d shapes. One of these shapes represents the part when it's nude, and other shapes show the part as if dressed in different garments (clothing, robes, light armour, heavy armour etc) The NB mods and such change that nude shape, my mod changes all the other versions. Meaning, they can co-exist because they replace different files.Addai67 wrote...
tmp, can you explain more about what your elf reshaping mod does? It is meant to work together with Natural Bodies, but to change the proportions of elven women as they appear in armor and robes, correct?
It seems odd to me that Natural Bodies only changes the nude figure and not the whole figure. Guess I have to remind myself that the computer world =/ the real world.
The thing is, in game these shapes completely replace one another when "worn". That is, the 'dressed' version isn't put 'over' the nude body shape but replaces it. This is done mainly for performance but probably also for flexibility and because it removes concern some unintended body bits could be sticking through the clothing otherwise. Having the shape of nude body actually affect the shape of clothing would be much more complicated and also prone to errors so it's something rarely if ever done.
The disadvantage is of course, because the clothed body of character can be completely different than the nude body, using different mods you can result in situation where you have say, small breasted nude PC with certain body shape, but look way more top-heavy and whatnot in the armour simply because the armour shape was made different. So the mod i did generally follows the curves of Realistic Look/Natural Body figures, to avoid that. Of course if someone uses the mod which actually has big breasts then looking smaller in armour is also going to be bit odd, but this is somewhat easier to explain than the opposite effect, plus i may eventually make a slightly bigger version to address that.

Speaking of mages, I just had a thought. Does anyone else find it amusing how they strip Mage!Warden of his belongings when he could, you know, easily shoot lightning out of his fingertips? I'm sure there are other compelling reasons to strip prisoners down apart from effectively disarming them, but still, I find it funny. xD

The first time I did it as a mage, I doled out two hilariously ineffectual punches before I remembered "Oh yeah, mage." *cone of cold*
I would feel silly, but Velanna does the same thing in the Silverite Mines escape. Anders will still use his spells, even without his staff, but Velanna just poked at things until I took her over.

My elf AW just doesn't have the glare my HNF rogue did. She has super cute makeup though.
Yeah, I need to start raising dex shortly so, I don't miss as much. Does armor pen help with to hit? It seems to. I'm running Telekinetic Weapons w/ a mace and I don't miss that often on Nightmare as is shockingly enough. Though it could just be a level difference I used the console to bump up my lvl so, I could be an AW from Ostagar out.

@Serissia- Hmm... I don't think it's that, no. As far as I know only dex affects hit rate.

I seem to remember doing the exact opposite. I cast cone of cold on the guard even before I tried talking to him. I don't think it actually did anything, since he wasn't hostile.

@Surely- LOL! She does that? I probably wasn't paying attention, but if she did then... lol. Just lol. x'D Anders > Velanna?
It was probably a tactical setting, since I'd just gotten her. But, yeah. Punching hurlocks while Anders was being a good mage and blowing them up.

Don't feel bad my Velanna was equally special. She somehow managed to get locked out of the room during the two drake fight.

A: Alistair here.
N: Nathaniel here.
A: Do this, do that.
N: Do this, do that.
And this isn't exactly similar, but it made me a little reminiscent:
N: Your wish is my command.
...I don't know about you guys, but I think the devs are doing it on purpose.

Thank you very much for the explanation. It all makes sense, it just isn't something that ever occurred to me, techno doofus as I am.tmp7704 wrote...

I'll try your mod out. I'm not bothered by the bustiness of the armor, but the scrawny arms with big hands do annoy me. And in NB I have my femWardens set to medium bust size. There really is no need for the huge gazongas in my book. LOL

What no NB large handed and huge breasted she-males w/ pornstar shaped public hair? Where's your sense of adventure?

So I was thinking about that Alistair-Nathaniel comparison some pages back, the "Alistair/Nathaniel here" thing, so I went through the voice clips again to have a listen. Turns out those weren't the only similarities.

Omgosh Iove Nethaniel so much. I think the reasons they are saying them are somewhat different (though I sometimes wish they weren't).
Curses upon BioWare and its entire house for not including romance in Awakening.. then again, I have to repeatedly remind myself: Expansion, not sequel..
Okay but still!
