Knight, don't look now but a lot of us are playing PCs who have the same stylist as Morri.  Posted Image

There just aren't a lot of good hair options for women that are both practical and feminine-looking.

It's true. There are about 3 hair styles I will actually use.

My hair isn't ithat long, but if I was going to make a point of running around fighting people, I would put it up!

Ah... I was afraid of that. I'd have to think more on it then. ;3; I'm against using that particular mod at the moment; I'm not quite ready for radical changes in my game just yet. And heavy armor would be OOC for the fighting style she uses, come to think of it. I guess that HNF replay will just have to wait a bit longer.

*sigh* When will I ever find a decent light armor set... I'm very tempted to study more on 3d modeling so I can make one myself.

I like the Morrigan hair because it's pulled back but it's not as proper looking as the other up-do's. It was pretty much the only hair that fit with my warrior's personality and now I'm addicted.

The hair my elf is wearing in the image was originally worn by my HNF, which I felt fit amazingly well (color and everything).

After that I had a hard time not selecting it (and it took me a while to pull myself away from the violet makeup).

I think it looks best on an elf, as the ears (with the ears mod) slip up right through it in the exact right spots.

It's really too bad that in Awakening, we don't have the option to either high-five or hug Ines for her supremely awesome take on the old bat.

She's at 100 approval, still hasn't spoken about her collapse, and I have no conversation options with her. It's driving me nuts.

I'm right there with ya.  I've read over the IA description and seen the shots, but I don't want to make radical changes to the game, don't like a lot of the face morphs, and some of the changes in the NPCs just seem random and weird.

I, also, tear my Morrigan-styled hair out over light armor.  Now I can't even get Shadow Warden Armor to work on new characters.  I added Armor of the Devout, but that only gives you one set that's not Leliana-specific, and you can't get it until later in the game.

Shadow Warden...love it. It looks good, and it looks a step above what non-nobles are wearing. It's the best I've found in all my searching. and I haven't noticed any drastic changes with IA, it's really pretty subtle.

I assume you mean you got the encounter where she did collapse yes?

How did you end the circle quest?

I found on my latest HNF playthrough, that her behavior changes a lot and you can lose out on a lot of dialogue by taking certain actions there. With Irving and Greagior, I told them that we couldn't let any blood mages live, so Irving surrendered him and the circle over to the templars as a preventative measure. Wynne still joined me, but she was missing a bunch of dialogue.

I saved the circle, and took Irvings word it was safe, like always. She collapsed on the way to redcliffe, and then nothing. I have a sinking feeling playing with the feastday gifts screwed it up. I gave her the hobble stick, then the good gift to make up for the dip in approval.

I can't stand the way shadow warden armor looks, the rivets and studs are way too bright for my tastes.

What I did was (at least for Kaylee, to my left) use the purple dyed Leliana item set. Of course, I actually modded it myself and made an independent version so I wouldn't be robbing Leli of anything.. but it's the nicest light armor around IMO. At least the chest is left unexposed.

I like the look:

((EDIT: Noting that those pics were taken for the ears mod, hence the closeups.))

I think that's my big gripe with light armor for females in this game...

There's a way to get the Pious Armor directly from the console at any point in the game. It's "runscript giveitem_pious"

I ended up over-using the Shianni hair and the longer dreadlock-braid style because most of the time you see your character from the back, and the plain-ness of the straight hair bugs me.  Shianni hair also fit my femCousland because I wanted a tomboy vibe with her.  But I figure as queen, she's going to get something that's a little softer and more dignified.  Alistair needs to be able to run his fingers through, for one thing...  Posted Image

Hasn't happened for her as of Awakening, of course!

I'm not a big fan of the Shadow Warden armor, either. It's just not the one I'm looking for for my Cousland girl.

Ooo, someone made an attempt at replicating the Sacred Ashes Leliana armor! o3o But that said, that would look better on Leliana and not my PC, though I prefer to have her wear the Armor of the Devout mod I saw on Nexus. It's the best I've seen so far, but again not exactly fit for my PC. ;3;

I'd be willing to study how to go about these edits but I don't know where to start. If any experienced custom modders are reading this, maybe you can point me in the right direction? I just have to know where to start this venture.

I had a problem with that. After downloading it last night I put it in my current DEF game and when I put it on Leli, the feet and hands disappeared. (she was wearing them she just looked like a tragic amputee floating in mid air). So I put the pious ones on her hands/feet and kept the Devout on her chest as it had better Rogue stats. Otherwise it seems to work fine. It also made me go through the ashes right after Lothering to pick it up and since I went there, the game registered me as finishing a quest line and for once I got Zevran prior to the Circle quest. I took him into the tower for the first time today!

Ohh... should note to those around last night when I was falling asleep.. (and well, the night before that too)...

I'll be serious, I'm emotionally unstable (as befits my condition).

When I get really, really tired.. I get really, really unstable and start falling apart. That's how I know it's bed time LOL...

I had the same thought about my HNF; something feminine but not-so-feminine. The Leli hair did the trick for me, and I managed to create some sort of backstory for it while I was messing around in the toolset one night. Well... wouldn't probably call this a backstory per se, but I started to think of what my PC would look like a year or two into being queen, and I came up with this:

HURR BRAIDS. It's the thought of it that's keeping me from even considering changing her hairstyle in my upcoming HNF replay, as silly as that may sound. xD

That's what happens with ZevranASAP.  He has some nice dialogue there, and a wrenching Fade dream, so I always make sure I take him if my PC is going to end up with him.  Same for any LI, really.  My male PC had to see Morrigan in the Fade.

I wish someone would figure out a mod to let you change makeup/hair. I'm in the process of redoing all my games with "the look" on my PC's now. Fortuneately I created them in the Character Creator download so they are all captured for future games using all the new mod stuff I have now.
