I wish someone would figure out a mod to let you change makeup/hair. I'm in the process of redoing all my games with "the look" on my PC's now. Fortuneately I created them in the Character Creator download so they are all captured for future games using all the new mod stuff I have now.

This is your best bet for right now.

EDIT: There's also this.

I had the same thought about my HNF; something feminine but not-so-feminine. The Leli hair did the trick for me, and I managed to create some sort of backstory for it while I was messing around in the toolset one night. Well... wouldn't probably call this a backstory per se, but I started to think of what my PC would look like a year or two into being queen, and I came up with this:

You people are so talented.  Posted Image

I won't use Leliana hair because it just belongs to Leliana.  My elf mage looks sufficiently unlike Morrigan, despite being dark haired, that I really don't think of it as Morri hair.

I do have to get her out of Wings of Velvet soon, though.  With the up-do, it's starting to feel school-mistress like to have her in a dress with a high collar.  I'm not relishing having to change to either massive armor or the battle-sl*t look most other mage robes give you.  Posted Image  If there's anything I hate worse than battle fairies (the way elves look in most video games), it's battle sl*t.

@Aisyn- When people start waking up and the sun begins to shine, that's when I know it's bedtime for me. 8D

LOL so do I! The first time around I actually thought that conversation only triggered if you shared the same hairstyle. I was very very amused. x'D And thanks~

@sylvan- If you have the sliders and still remember which preset you used as a base, it's possible to recreate your character in the toolset. You just have to guesstimate how much those sliders ticked away from the default setting. That's what I did with the character I posted above a page back. Then you can mess around to your heart's desire~

Whoops! No, I apparently had a line formed to speak with me. I bounced back and forth to camp a few times and got it. What happened was after RC Alistair pounced on me, then we did his quest in Denerim, got back to camp and he pounced on me  again with his "and you'll be the last" swoonworthy speech. Then, I went to Denerim, came back and Leli got me, did it again and got Morrigan's quest, and finally the last time Wynne woke up...lol

Clearly telling me about Marjolaine was exhausting...

I agree with the battle sl*t thing, I hate it. Sometimes, I find robes which show skin in what I feel is a tasteful manner, but usually, that's not the case.

Note, I said robes. I can't stand actual armor with huge gaping holes, it's just so unsafe and stupid.

Oh, Maker.  People keep bringing up the console.  I'm skeered of it.  Posted Image  Of course, not long ago I was scared to mod, too, and now I'm mod-happy.  LOL

Here's the mod so, you can see what you're typing into the console.  With this mod you won't have to worry about accidently giving yourself 10 million gold or max level on accident.

Its from IA, in Eiriks chantry in Haven.  In a chest in the side room.

Also thanks for the link to the toolset tutorial.  I haven't been able to get mine to work at all so maybe I can figure  out what I am doing wrong with that.

I usually stay away from huge overhaul mods like that. It's like, I only wanna change some things, not like, the entire game :(

Its mostly cosmetic, not a huge difference. Some nicer gear and you don't have to add the head morphs (those are separate). At first I didn't think I would like it but playing a second game with it its grown on me a LOT. Morrigan looks freaking hot in that dress too.

*sigh* I give in. I have looked it up before, and asked before, but I don't recall exactly what IA stands for, may I please have a link?

IA is actually pretty nice.  It gives the visual effects of what the game would of been like if the devs had unlimited time to work on it.  It makes it so there's more people in town and those people do things like stand, sit, knee and lean on things.  It makes it feel a little bit more realistic instead of everyone just standing straight up giving the O.O face.

I figure I'll try it once our re-playability is reaching its end and I want to see something new.  I thought we would have been there by now, but with Awakening I guess, my husband has picked up DA again and I'm still going, too.

Yeah I think this is why I am giving in. My replayability is about spent now.. but I would rather play this than other games I currently own.. so I am a bit stuck.

Well, I want to play City of Heroes, which I adore immensely, but my GF isn't playing much of it right now either and it isn't the same wiothout her.

I like the Morrigan hair because it's pulled back but it's not as proper looking as the other up-do's. It was pretty much the only hair that fit with my warrior's personality and now I'm addicted.

I ended up over-using the Shianni hair and the longer dreadlock-braid style because most of the time you see your character from the back, and the plain-ness of the straight hair bugs me.  Shianni hair also fit my femCousland because I wanted a tomboy vibe with her.  But I figure as queen, she's going to get something that's a little softer and more dignified.  Alistair needs to be able to run his fingers through, for one thing...  Posted Image

Hasn't happened for her as of Awakening, of course!

I would love that hair if it wasn't for the two dangly bits in the very back. Before I did Morrigan hair, I was stuck on Leliana's.

My dream style (and I know this is totally historically inaccurate, but I'm going to guess that most of those in the game are *Alistair*) would be the brushed-over mohawk look from Fo3. I would love to go full badass in this game.

@Addai- So long as there's a distinct difference I don't think there's a problem with using a different character's hairstyle. I mean, we weren't given that many choices in vanilla, after all. xD I want to work with what the game provides, if I can help it. Just that I have one more reason to stick with this hairstyle after my what-would-she-look-like venture.

Lovely Surana you got there, by the way! I think the hair really suits her. <3

@Aisy- LOL sorry, Aisy it is then. I have this bad habit of not typing out the entire username when I reference people. Makes for some very unfortunate nicknames most times. '8D

It's part of the Improved Atmosphere mod, it drops off the revered father in the haven chantry...or in the chest in his office, I forget which.

Heh, well I guess you could go completely bald in DA and it would have similar effect.  I know some men find that hot.  *does not even want to contemplate why*
