Do it Addai, yoiu KNOW youi want to...I was leery a bit then logged on my Dalish and YUM!  Maricstair is SO much better IN game than posted on screenies here.

Speaking of Maric, I really should get back to reading The Stolen Throne. I am so resistant to reading that book for whatever reason, you'd think someone was asking me to pull my own teeth out.

Oh, I absolutely plan on using a modded Alistair for when I do my next dwarf noble run. Been stockpiling mods for when I get around to it. I change Zevran's look every time I romance him to keep each playthrough feeling different instead of "same old, same old." The only thing that makes me hesitate is that if I share Alistair+dwarf romance screenshots, that posters here might not see it as the real Alistair and might not squee as much over these pictures and that is not going to help with my dwarf evangelizing!

Its not just the boyband hair replaced.  He has some scruffyness to him too.  VERY manly!  I clickey'ed him on my Dalish and could nearly hear the *GULP* he caused her!  I'm gonna REALLY enjoy this playthrough...

I kind of felt that way too.  I had to really push myself through it.  I found The Calling much easier to read.  Oddly, I really wanted to read The Calling for Duncan but ended up liking Maric in it more.  I found Maric's relationship with Fiona to be much more fulfilling than his with Katriel.  Then again, I'm not a Katriel fan in the least.

Its not just the boyband hair replaced.  He has some scruffyness to him too.  VERY manly!  I clickey'ed him on my Dalish and could nearly hear the *GULP* he caused her!  I'm gonna REALLY enjoy this playthrough...

Haha, well, different strokes. I am too attached to the the boyband hair and facial hair... then again, my initial reaction when I see a guy with that same combination IRL is "what a douche".

Most of the guys I know with that combination are gay.  One of the guys my mate used to dally with had similar hair to Alistair's but dark and the guy bleached a white stripe in the front because he wanted to be like Rogue...

Haha, really? I guess my immediate douchey connection is because most of the guys I've seen with the combo were the fratboy dudebro housemates of my ex-roommate's boyfriend (mostly the hairstyle/bit of scruff, not many soulpatches) and they were INSUFFERABLE. I was set not to like Alistair because of this, tbh, now I don't like him without it. Then again, Alistair has the benefits of not being a total misogynist privileged doucheclown

Speaking of elves....inspired by the awesomeness of that thread, I started a new EMF. Turned out to be a quirky, very hyper young woman who absolutely hates the life in the circle. She likes Jowan, but is in the opinion that he seriously needs a sense of humor and picks constantly on his broodiness.

When Duncan came into the circle, she was like OMG,GREEEY WAAARDEN'S HEEEERE?!  *squee* and askes him thousand things before even escorting him to his room. She decided to help Jowan but not before calling Lily a "fat cow" and feigning interest in Jowan -- just to laugh at the face he was making.

As it was time for the confrontation, she stood by Jowan against those old circle fools and felt justified with it. I imagine her screaming Grey WARDEN?  PICK ME ME ME ME ME!!! in her head when Duncan declared the issue, followed by a little happy dance as the doors of the circle finally closed behind her.

"Freedom. Yay. Naori is ready to save the world of Darkspawn."
Duncan: *sigh* "Great, now I have two of them."

And what do we learn of it? Too much Lyrium is bad for you

Here are the two modded Zevran I used. The black hair version was for my mage and the ponytail version was for my city elf run. Those two games really did feel different for me. I very much like Zevran in the black hair version, but I keep him blonde for my other games because that's who his character is.

I look forward to modded Alistair.

Hmmm the black hair is a little too aftershock...but still adorable.  I'm a lot more open to mods now that I have been using more of them.  I would add both to my games in a heartbeat!  Zevran is still Zevran no matter how he looks I adore him!  He's my BFF!

I had a brunette Zevran mod on for a while and, while I actually preferred the look in terms of aesthetics, I eventually took it off because it just didn't seem like Zev  to me.

Yea I really can't deal as well with ones that completely change their features like eye color and hair colors.  But I am getting more open about the hair color thing I DON"T want to see a dark haired/blue eyed Alistair in my games.  Maricstair is just enough changes to make him new and different and its still Alistair to me too.
