In fact, none of the people I have taken seem particularly disturbed by the prospect once you get all the facts in the air: Those being that the only way to free him is to slay him, and that he has been horribly unhappy his entire life, and this is the first joy he has ever known. Basically, it comes down to slaying them on principle, or just letting her keep him, as charmed or not, he's living his dream.

Also it seems like it's a long-term affair. It's heavily implied that she isn't just draining him to move on in a couple days, she wants to keep him for the long haul as she really likes her situation.

No, though on a very liberal mage I could see it happening. It'll be a long time before that happens though; I have a lot of PCs left on idle. '8D

Yea my ultra libretarian mage did it.
He found a sweet irony in this ordeal. The Templars who spent their lives stopping him from taking what's his by right, are also denying themselves their own rights. He finds that pathetic.

Plus, the whole "let's throw a demon into a mage to test him", made him rejoice at the fact that a templar was now being manipulated by a demon. 

That, plus he is generally curious about demons and already made a deal with one.

Just talk to Alistair right before you make your ruler choice.  He makes no bones about what he thinks you should do.  If you're worried about pulling your support from Anora, it's not anything she wouldn't do to you in a heartbeat.

*Squee* you are further along than I am.  I have only gotten up to the Lampost convo so far.  Its triggered but in a holding pattern.  Glad I did now that I have Maricstair.

Isn't that the truth lol.  The more I play and the different scenarios I get I very very strongly dislike Anora, more like hate lol.  So any chance I get to burst her bubble or call her a back-stabbing bytch just makes me giggle with glee lmao  .

because when you come in she is talking about how sumptuous their meal is.  And the two of them are just standing there doing nothing.  Everything is an illusion.  He will be dead in at most 72 hours from dehydration.

This would most likely be the reasoning my liberal mage would go by. I'd imagine making deals with demons wouldn't be too big a deal for him/her.

It's just that betrayal is something that hits close to home for my HNF. It was what led to the Cousland massacre, after all. Betraying Anora would be cruel cruel irony... She'd be a little more unforgiving when faced with traitors like Loghain so there was no question that he wasn't going to be allowed to live, but the thing is my HNF wouldn't put it all so bluntly (the line that triggers betrayal). I can't see another way to work around this without going a bit off-character so I'll just have to deal. ;3;

It's a comforting thought, I suppose, how she won't have much problem going back on her word given the opportunity. I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I finally go through with it; would definitely make it all more tolerable.
