I like the idea they don't kind of lol. Because when I'm going into the landsmeet I'm not 100% sure that I want to take that path, more like 99.9%. When I do make that finale decision it's after talking to Alistair and Anora, with Anora it's just so I can call her a ruthless bytch lmao. But seeing Alistair's hesitation when your talking to him, even if he is hardened, I can't subject him to do this alone.
Edit: lmao, I do the tent thing too before having to go to Redcliff and having to deal with Morrigan and her DR. This is gonna sound crude but oh well. I always imagine that because I had just done the wonderful deed with Alistair that our love-making is still fresh in his mind and maybe even the smell of us being together is still fresh also
EDIT:
Alistair hesistates when you talk to him? Which line? B/c he's pretty firm when I talk to him. It could be the order I have the dialogue path follow. His only real hesitation for me is when I ask if he's willing to give up his freedom.
Edit: Well, the sword and shield are a set. I keep them as Alistair's secondary weapons, just like Lya keeps the Cousland Sword/Shield as a secondary sets. They are important family items, and I would never sell them.
LOL well its more a matter of keeping my Inventory under control. Soon as I upgrade the blade and shield it gets sold. No attachment to it. Except on Valora. I didn't care about the shield but I kept the Cousland sword to kill Howe with it. In fact, in my mind, Val is my "canon" game so I guess thats why.
