Why do I wake up to such things? David Bowie would be proud of the eye makeup.

Funny, the Deep Roads have grown on me. It really feels like a dangerous journey and it's the only time in the game it makes sense that you don't go there with all of your companions. I really enjoy it, I also enjoy the Sacred Ashes temple.Gilsa wrote...

The only part I truly hate is the Faaaaaaaade. Little pun for startes, the word "fade" (written like this) does exist in German and it means dull. The perfect description.

I suppose I shouldn't be too harsh on you Maricstair types, since I did end up succumbing to the call of
Kyaaa, do Punisher again Alistair-sama ^____^~~~
(I deserve to be murdered for that.)

Quoted with photo because your shots are always beautiful.Gilsa wrote...

Heh, in all seriousness, I really enjoy Deep Roads. I think I take longer than the average player does because I'm always panning my camera around looking the structural damage or the placement of coffins or clicking on every single road marker to see what it says. I often take screenshots of interesting places if I can. Sometimes I listen to Hespith repeat that poem a few times before I inititate dialogue with her. I am sympathetic though -- it does seem to drag on when I'm not playing a dwarf. I have to hurry before I start missing my dwarves and want to run back to them!
Noble checking out the collasped bridge with Oghren and commoner taking in the scenery at Kal Hirol.
Edit: Oh, the noble is carrying Gorim's shield and sword. She does switch to the Aeducan shield when she returns with the crown for Harrowmont, but it is with Gorim's sword that she slays Bhelen with so he can be there in spirit as she avenges them both.

Heh, glad you like it. It is a bit dark- must have been on the way to a fade-out- but sometimes seeing less is nicer.sylvanaerie wrote...
*Cries* sticking my head in the car door and slamming it a few times is less painful than the Deep Roads for me. I always dread it and my game loses steam during that loooooooooooong ass run in there
*edit* top of page okay...one of my favorites just posted I copied and pasting. In this one it almost seems like Al and the PC have just brushed cheeks to me...I thought it was a downright sweet moment to capture JUST right...

My husband says he prefers a more boyish look for Alistair, but I got him to admit that it's partly because that gives his male PCs unquestioned alpha male status in the party. Which is the motivation that drives a lot of the world, isn't it? But, since his last PC sent Ali naked into exile and his current one is a human-hating Dalish female who's going to romance Zevran, he has absolutely no Coercion points where Maricstair is concerned.

It IS terrible. And since I had NB installed at the time (removed for those tent shots because of the weird neck thing), Ali didn't even have his BVDs.SurelyForth wrote...
It sounds terrible, but it's incredibly practical.

The trunk thing, that... nooooo, I'm just going to keep thinking about what Ali might be whispering into my elf's ear in that shot.

I can stand just about everything except douchery in my party and the thought that I had to substitute Alistair for that guy just had me cringing everytime he spoke with that "I gargle with razorblades" voice of his. Not to mention he looks like a mule kicked zombie strung out on drugs.

lol Sylvanaerie, I was thinking of this during the cutscenes in my new game and kept laughing. I also noticed that he kind of randomly pauses like William Shatner when he talks.
