I guess it just comes back to my disqust with the whole mistress ending. It just doesn't sit well with me that the Hero of Ferelden isn't good enough. Again like I said earlier, not marrying him to the skank means you could RP that he doesn't marry because he loves your pc. Anora doesn't marry because of Loghain.Lady Jess wrote...

To each his own. I think Anora is an evil woman who shouldn't be in power. But thats just me.
Wish me luck with my newest toolset endeavor!
I agree. But she never gets executed, she's allowed to live, leaving her free to do exactly what she claims Alistair could do when she calls for his execution. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Thats a good way to do it too. I just figure, if the only way I could be with my real life husband was to be his mistress...I'd do it. Although he' army, so half the time I feel like i really AM his mistress...lol My elf mage /could/ marry him. I have the mod installed. But if at some point there IS a return of our companions...I'm afraid it would screw something up.

I tried downloading that last night, but it didn't look the same! It looked just like the Forgotten armor. I swear, it was the elven Warden armor but it was like chainmail, and it had what looked like mismatched gauntlets. Weird.
I had a character named Sorcha, too. *high five*
That would happen if you're running two mods with the same name. It's rare this happens since most people name their custom armor something unique but it can happen. You'd have to know what other mod is using the same name to fix it.

I'm killing one of them this time through with my mage, and I want to side with the Lady and kill the elves. I have yet to do that. I have killed all the werewolves, just not the elves.
I somehow have never killed either side. I always get Zathrien to break the curse...lol

Thats what I generally do, but as my Dalish I sided with Zathrien. It was hard, even after killing the gatekeeper the lady begs you to help. It was harder to do than I thought it would be.Lady Jess wrote...

Hey all trek fans, you do realize that Tuvok is Zathrien, right?

Hmm. I'm not sure what could be conflicting. The Shadow Warden Armor that isn't even showing up on new characters, maybe?Serissia wrote...

I'm actually finding the mage a lot of fun. There's enough new dialogue to paint some of the old encounters in a new light. I never realized that Avernus was actually using Blood Magic to dominate the minds of the nobles and sway them to Sophia's cause. As a HN I thought it came across that most of the nobility genuinely wanted to side with Sophia to stop Arland's tyranny. I kill Avernus this play-through and shattered the vile for the Power of Blood skills.

Thats exactly what happened with me. My Cousland always sided with Avernus, assuming that my family really wanted to be part of the rebellion. Then I found out that he used blood magic and was responsible for the death of some of my family members and now I kill him each time.Serissia wrote...

Do a proper save of your game, exit and then turn off Shadow Warden Armor. Force the load if it tells you that it should be installed. Save over that same proper save again and exit. Go back into your DLC menu and active Shadow Warden Armor and load your proper save. This should make your Shadow Warden Armor show.
I doubt those two mods are conflicting but I haven't tried the two together. I suppose it's possible.

When/if I replay my HNF I'll probably side w/ him again since it doesn't come across that her family was forced into the choice. Plus the Power of Blood skills for a rogue is amazingly good if you're going with a Backstab/Stealth build.
So far my favorite mage interaction has been w/ Jory. When I first started my mage as an elf I didn't get it but as a HM I did. I love how he stutters and doesn't even finish what he normally says.

My CE sided with the elves too. Well, it kind of all broke down becaues the werewolves have that part where they get all aggressive in the talk and Zathrien goads them and they're this close from getting violent and you can then either patch things up or start a fight in self-defense so i went for the latter. The Lady was all like, "cmessaz wrote...

It was pretty dramatic way to end things, i was just disappointed when Zathrien got up after the fight -- i had no healer with me and werewolves got him during it and that'd make the overall arc even better, imo if it ended with him perishing too and his assistant getting to run the tribe. But alas.

I took down that link, do not download that mage thing. Luckily I read the comments before actually downloading it.

Is this the part where Zathrian says they turn on you just as quick and you're forced to pick sides? That's the farthest my conversation went before the battle breaks out. Would be interesting to know if you can push it a little more. o3otmp7704 wrote...

I've always went with the compromise route when dealing with the Dalish and Werewolves dispute. I can't think of a character that would side with the werewolves just yet, but I can see my Dalish siding with the elves for apparent reasons. xD

*nods* My HN characters usually go to the Circle, too. Just feel they have no choice. I felt like my HNM had the hardest time of anyone. The idea of killing another nobleman's wife or child tore him up.LadyDamodred wrote...
Unfortunately, my HNF knows they need Eamon, and she reasons keeping his family alive is necessary. She's also really leery about blood magic and has an issue with hurting kids after what happened to Oren. It's not to say she likes Isolde or wnats to keep her alive, but Eamon is the key figure and she wants him happy and able to function. Other characters look at it differently, but remain sketchy on the whole killing kids/sacrificing people thing.
The thing is, how good is Redcliffe or Eamon going to be to you if it's gone in entirety and the only forces it has left are the knights who are out being chopped up by cultists? This is a powerful, bloodthirsty demon and in just one night the whole place could be wiped out.
I think it's clear most of Eamon's forces are not in Redcliffe, and thus, protected from the demon. And you destroyed the undead threat. So if they can keep Connor from getting out of the castle, I don't think he can wreak too much damage. Of course, I always RP that I leave some party members (Sten and Morrigan) behind to do what must be done if everything goes horribly wrong.

Hmm... I'm pondering whether to get myself a cup of coffee and slug the HN origin out until the sun rises or head off to bed. The former is very very tempting; I want to see how the Forgotten Armor would look on her. ;3; Can anyone tell me what the attribute requirement is for wearing it? I don't think I saw any when I checked the project page.

Don't think there is too much of a requirement, my HNF in my avatar is wearing it and has been since Ostagar.nranola wrote...

I have Morrigan on the attack, she hates Maricstair even more than regular Alistair. She only likes Morrigstair because he is almost as beautiful as her.
