Argh!  That sucks!  I know how you feel; I lost all of my saves when I installed Awakening the first time.  I just lost 2 hrs of work in the game because I did something stupid w/ Lloyd/Bella.  I have to reload to when I was first talking w/ Teagan.

I think they blew the PC facial expression budget on the Origins.

At least Awakening gave us a little more variety.


This is my favorite scene in Awakening, if only for the adorable Skeptical Face/Posture being displayed by the Warden-Commander.

What version of Windows are you on? If' it's 7, you might be able to recover some things.

See I was running 7, but I bought my PC just before it's release, so I have to restore Vista then upgrade to 7. There is no hope to recover files, I wiped my hard drive.

Heh, my characters tend to look perpetually on the verge of making a smartass remark or bored. The glares come out quite nicely, though.

I might have a couple older game saves on my jump drive. Once my pc is done installing 7 I will check and see. But they would be old, I guess it's better than nothing.

Oh snap. I'm so sorry to hear that! I'd be absolutely devastated if I lost my characters. I hope you got a hold of the morphs, at least?

Loved this shot as well. I could practically hear the "Bad breath alert" voice clip chiming in on my CEF when I first saw it. xD

My HNF right then decided she'd marry him, and handle the politics.

I think my mages might have to either use the marriage mod, or play the mistress...no more Warden endings Well, maybe I'll keep the one I already had. She's finished both games.

Yep, same thing happened for my HNF.  She was on the precipice and hearing Alistair be so confident not only pushed her over the edge, it made her fall for him all over again.

As for the mistress thing, I must admit that I'm almost tempted to re-roll an HNF next time.  On my mage who ended up with Zevran, I had a squee moment when I realized she would be known as Sula Arainai.  It is sad that my elves will never be known as ___ Theirin.  There is definitely something to be said for being the lawfully wedded wife.  But, I could never use that mod because to me it breaks game lore completely.

Not exactly, just looks like it. Improved Atmosphere brings over a lot of the cool looking Awakening styles.
