this is one of the things that keeps me from romancing anyone else as a female PC. I hate the idea of Alistair losing his virginity to Morrigan esp with the importance he places on love/sex/devotion. She would scar him for life.
In that case, you just have to hope that he finds a mistress who'll really love him. Sadly, the odds of the king finding that are slim. Plenty of women throwing themselves at him but who would know and love him as goofy Alistair of old? It's one of the things that I like about the Maric-Fiona romance- the idea that Maric found that and that Fiona found someone safe to care for her, too- though the thought that they never see each other after The Calling's events is sad. Unless there's a meeting we don't know about, or he ended up with her when he disappeared.
Thats a thought...maybe its what happened indeed...its nice to contemplate it anyway. Is Fiona the love of his life do you think?

Ya I find it hard with Morri. I've got such mixed emotions about her, I want to be her friend, I am her friend but I'm not sure I could ever really trust her.
The very first time I played DA I played a HNM and she was my very first romance in the game and my male Cousland fell head over heels with her, even swore to look for her (pisses me off I lost that whole playthrough when I had to reinstall DA).
That's why I'll never be able to hate Morri but like I said I don't know if I could really trust her.
This is sad but it's the only pic I have of my male Cousland and Morri

Ok so I've been playing with silent pc since I got the game on my computer. But I would like to give my elf a voice. Which is least annoying?
I think my current PC is using Wise? Or experienced maybe.

Is experienced the second 1 down, if so I love that one. She has some excellent comments lol

I trust her, after how hard admitting friendship was, and how hurt and angry she gets if ou reach that point and refuse her ritual. I think Maybe what Flemeth's plan was, may have been different than what Morrigan did with it. Maybe she took a plan that was intended to be something evil, and did something else with it. i think we will find out eventually though. It was too big not to be addressed again.

I think cocky is second (on elves) and then experienced 3rd. cocky is good too but I wanted to go something a little different this time. I think I chose Wise (the top one anyway). On humans I think experienced is second and yes i like it for humans too.
Dislike "Violent' that damn ladder comment gets really annoying REALLY fast. not to mention its Anora's voice UGH

Your probably right about the whole plan being different once Morrigan reaches friendship stage. I so hope they do address it again later. It would suck to have it end like that. For my female Pc's who did befriend her and especially for my male PC who desperately want's her back, I just have to make up a new one lmao.

My favorite for the elven women is Experienced. Suave was really cute on my blood mage- oh the irony of her little battle giggle, or her saying "what a mess" after she boiled the enemies' blood and exploded them with a Virulent Walking Bomb.cmessaz wrote...

Well, to me, the mistress ending is imperfect but better than parting ways. Alistair is not going on his Calling alone if my PC can help it. And thus they might as well stay together in the meantime. I know others feel differently, but in the case of an elf it is racism and political reality that keeps them from being able to marry. Nonetheless Alistair is so devoted to his Warden lover that it's easy (for me) to consider that she is his wife in the spiritual sense, regardless of what he has to do for the kingdom.Lady Jess wrote...

Dangit, another mark in the mistress category. My non HNF girls (Except Karynne) are so screwed...errr well, you know what I mean!
Edit: Although that aimo comic makes me sad as I think of Alistair trying to have an heir with a wife he doesn't really love. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/blushing.png[/smilie]

That's hard to say. His interaction with Katriel in the Fade dream is so sad. I'm not sure I'd call her the love of his life, either, though. He hung on to those memories so fiercely partly out of guilt, I think. And then, he was very devoted to Rowan, too. If we get "the rest of the story" about Maric's life, it will be easier to say.sylvanaerie wrote...

I know ritual dismemberment Tuesday is still a few days away, but I just had to post this. Slugging through Castle Cousland just now and I can't decide which is more awesome--the fact that she beheaded her first soldier, or the fact that she took an arrow to the heart and lived. 8D
Beheadment...esp if it was done with a dagger...

This picture also shows the leather armour does not help against the arrows, so the lack of some of it isn't as suicidal as some may believenranola wrote...
