Honestly that is just them being cheap. It wouldn't be too hard to at least put the ruler we chose in the 10 second scene.

I wish they had a "Hug Bryce" mod at that moment.  I just RP in my head that my PC hugs him before going off to sleep (usually alone it kind of disturbs me that Dairren dies right in front of the PC).

I'm loath to admit this publically but the DNF origin made me cry.  I thought it was touching and tragic the way Gorim embraces her that one last time.

Never played a Dwarf past Lothering. Can't do it.

Grumpy- Now that beats my sad mage who ran off with zombie Alistair. Ouch.

Yeah, I ran the origin, and that moment was amazing. I teared up too. But that's all the further she got, as far as entering Ostagar to get the achievement. I'm just getting to where After the Origin through Lothering I just don't want to do those treaties again. The mage tower isn't bd with skip the fade, Dalish is pretty fast, but the deep roads. Ugh. Just makes me cringe.

I can't bring myself to ever sleep with Dairren.  I see him as nothing but an opportunistic noble looking to raise his political standing and weath via marriage.  If I sleep with anyone it's Iona since she is genuinely sweet.

IMO you didn't miss much.  I was incredibly dissapointed with how the people of Orzammar reacted to the DNF or should I say the lack of reaction.  I went with Harrowmont since I couldn't justify siding w/ Bhelen after what he did to me.  Even Harrowmont had little to say about what happened during my origin.  I thought that was rather ironic considering his whole reason to stand up aganist Bhelen is because of what happened in the origin.

And now I have no urge to ever complete a dwarf. See this game is funny, in some parts it is amazing and in some very disappointing. Damn you EA!

Does anyone else LOATH going through Castle Cousland and having Howe's archers use dirty fighting on you every second! ARGH!

This time I played Val as more of a "Daddy's girl/tomboy".  She really had no interest in guys and it took forever for Alistair to get her attention cause she kept thinking "Goofball commoner...whatever..."  *Holds up the hand*.  Gradually she found herself getting close to him and opening up finally (had never done that with anyone who wasn't her immediate family) and by the time Landsmeet came along she knew she wanted to be with him, king or no king.  I was going to make Anora queen and Alistair and Val would go off and be Teryn's of Gwaren till Anora gave that WRETCHED speech and I wanted to gouge out my eardrums.  I backtracked and made Al king then hardened him AFTER the Landsmeet.  I didn't trigger the tent scenes till she was engaged to him.  It just felt right this run through.

Yeah, I can rp my city elf fell for Nalaros immediately (that whole "I'll spend my life making you happy" line melted me), and my dalish can love Tamlen, and even my mages can return Cullen's crush, but Dairren...ugh ick no.
