Now, what I really want is to somehow get a screenshot of us in our matching Kal'Hirol armor.  I need a mod that let's me put that into Origins.  That and the Legion armor.  Mmmm.

On my monitor the armor is a lovely chocolate brown with gold trim and reddish brown or taupe sections. It's extremely tasteful.   Alistair's armor is also a little different, being dark gold, brown, and burgundy. Also very attractive. I would like what I'm seeing on my screen very much. Neither is too high contrast, or highly saturated which I find to be a problem with most of the armor mods.

Yeah, different monitors will make things look different.  I understand what you're seeing, though.  The gold/taupe is what I see, but the "brown" isn't chocolate.  It's darker with gray/black in it, but I see how you're getting the brown.  And Alistair's is dark gold, which I like.  The black is still black though, and the purple is a bit more "burgundy-ish" than I've seen in other pics.  Part of that is the lighting, and part of it must be our monitors.  But, yeah, see why I like it so much?

Randomly: the light in the Awakening CC makes me want to punch a puppy into orbit.

Thanks, I found it.  I was expecting it to be in the big Andraste room.

I love it.  Definitely my arcane warrior's new uniform.  I tried Ali in the ancient elven and didn't really like it, so he's stuck in the WCA.  But, a Thane Warden still, so.

I have no idea why the lighting is so bad. It just doesn't make sense. I guess they like making people either pop out the toolset or make a ton of toons until one looks the way they intended it to. I'm just basing my Orlesian Warden's coloring on what I see in the character portrait now, where everything isn't blue.

For me, it's always the same coloration as it is on Alistair in Addai67's picture above yours. I much prefer the colors in your shots.

The color does bleach out in certain areas, like WK or up in the mountains. This is what I usually see, though. I wonder if it's video cards or monitors that are largely responsible.

You might want to try in on Alistair with the warrior stats version. He looks good in it. (I thought it was a bit overpowered in all it's versions, though. If I end up using it much, I'll probably lower the stats.) Actually, that wasn't devout I put him in, it was Pious, I think....

I think if you sell it to Bodahn it'll be upgraded once you buy it back. I'm not 100% certain though.

I tried it on him, but thought it looked better on my girl.    It's too bad that the Devout set is restricted to Leli, especially since Leli is a camp-sitter in my game.  Ah well.  I am having a tough time dressing Ali this game.  Not that he looks bad in WCA, but I'm kind of tired of it.

Mine is Tier 3 steel.  I bet it's the upgrade that changes the color.  Now I have to figure out how to get it upgraded- I've never managed it.

Your colors look like mine do when washed out. I think armor sets like this are unaffected by level. There is no difference in lvl 5 and lvl 7 in Cailan's armor.



I will take them up into the mountains tomorrow to see how washed out the colors can get. We shall see. And I shall try selling to Bodahn. I know selling Cailan's to Mikael Dryden works to upgrade that.

I sold my WC armor to Dryden once and they disappeared from his inventory. I dunno if it was a glitch or not, but I didn't want to risk it again xD
