I did that, but it doesn't seem any different from before. Tried asking him before and after speaking with Duncan and I still can't prod him about it. ;3; But to clarify, the fix is supposed to have that "I don't envy what you have to go through" conversation available, right? Or was it supposed to fix something else entirely?SurelyForth wrote...

Awww the Ostagar dialogue with Alistair still isn't triggering for me. Why, Alistair? Why can't I prod you about the Joining? Is it too much to ask?
Are you asking him right away? With cmessaz/ejoslin's fixes (I'm not sure which one I'm using at the moment), you have to ask before you go back to Duncan and hook up with Jory and Daveth. After you get the quest, Alistair becomes Mr. Taskmaster.

If you're using cmessaz's patch then you have to question him initially about the Joining. You should get the second dialogue here that you would of got after questioning him the second time w/ ADP.
Unless something changed anyhow...

Ah, that figures. I was steering clear of the questioning the first time because I remembered it not working that way the first time. Pity I'm practically done with the Wilds quest now... but I'm willing to run through it again to hear this.Serissia wrote...
If you're using ADP you'll have to ask Alistair about the Joining when you question him further initially. He'll tell you to ask him after you talk to Duncan. If you speak to him again after you receive the quest for the blood there will be an option to persuade him for further info.

You know if she looked like that in the game I bet Alistair would violently object to poltical marriage.

Why would he? Alistair would have a bit on Duncan everywhere even in bed

He'd have to cover up the top half of her face, to avoid the Loghain eyes. The Beard, though, would probably work for him.

Hit it from behind and run his fingers through her beard huh?

That made me laugh way harder than it should have but...yes, that would work.
I need something to clear my mind of all this weirdness. Here's my own personal Team Awesome, Landsmeet Edition:

That's the team I'm using this time around too. I was thinking of switching out Leliana for Zevran but I don't think I'm going to. I actually had to use a Feast Day gift to get Morrigans approval up. She disagreed with me so much she was almost in the negative.

Night all!
Thanks for: "Alistair Rex", obviously the profile that's going to appear on coinage.
And what, no page 500 yet?! You guys are slacking. Or rendered slack-jawed by Duncanora. I for one am glad that I have no conflicted feelings about any Anora rendition. Off with its head!

I sort of miss my Anti-Alistair run in these situations. Finn Cousland had Morrigan ready to jump him almost straight out of Lothering.

Has anyone tried Dungan/Teacan yet? I think either the thread would implode from the pure, unadulterated awesome or it would be sadly underwhelming.

Heh, Morrigan's approval is easy to raise. There's so much jewelry lying around Ferelden, she's even easier than Alistair. My HNM had Ali as BFF and was lifting Morrigan's skirt pretty early. There is some tension with Alistair over Morri, however. He keeps calling her a b*tch and saying things like "good riddance" after HNM had just lost her. I do imagine there was some testosterone pushing and shirt-pulling over comments like that.SurelyForth wrote...

Too early for top of the page, and all my latest shots are Maricstair... so here's a repeat.
