And what, no page 500 yet?! You guys are slacking. Or rendered slack-jawed by Duncanora. I for one am glad that I have no conflicted feelings about any Anora rendition. Off with its head!
Has anyone tried Dungan/Teacan yet? I think either the thread would implode from the pure, unadulterated awesome or it would be sadly underwhelming.
Ali's squeezing too hard, it would seem.Serissia wrote...

Heh, Morrigan's approval is easy to raise. There's so much jewelry lying around Ferelden, she's even easier than Alistair. My HNM had Ali as BFF and was lifting Morrigan's skirt pretty early. There is some tension with Alistair over Morri, however. He keeps calling her a b*tch and saying things like "good riddance" after HNM had just lost her. I do imagine there was some testosterone pushing and shirt-pulling over comments like that.

Heh, I never play a male in FO3. My default look there is U.S. Army regulation sniper: Ranger armor, Lucky Shades, and Reservist rifle/ Blackhawk pistol.SurelyForth wrote...
Now I just need to figure out how to make Bram look a little less meathead-y. I want to make him a DA version of my favorite Regulator Duster clad, Lucas Simms hat wearing, Lincoln Repeater carrying, Wasteland badass but the male models in DA are too bulky for me to get the look I want (this is the case with any male PC, though). I prefer FO3s tendency towards lankier men and slightly less waify women.

LMAO I read the description on Ser Garlen's sword just now in the Wiki. "Somewhere on the field there is a bewildered knight fighting with his dinner fork. Pity him." x'DD Decided not to coerce it from the messenger for this particular PC as she had no reason to. *sigh* Goodbye purdy purdy sword...
Didn't know it was part of an item set before now, though. Learn something new everyday.

It's a sword you get from the Elven Messenger that runs around in Ostagar. If you lie to him and pass a persuade check, or intimidate him (no check needed), you get Ser Garlen's Sword. It's the best longsword you can give Alistair by that time if you have him as your tank imo, what with the boost to physical resistance and all. Turns out you can get more physical resistance boostage when you equip it with a Studded Helmet and the Superior Dwarven Guard Armor you get from the DN origin.errant_knight wrote...

What sword is this? This seems to be something I haven't discovered--pretty amazing after all this time!

No, but I'm even more confused than I was with Duncanora.I think maybe I need some more sleep or coffee, to sort through these unexpected feelings.
You know if she looked like that in the game I bet Alistair would violently object to poltical marriage.
You can lie to the elven messenger that you're there to take Ser Garlen's sword and he'll give it to you. It's a mean, dirty thing to do.errant_knight wrote...
