Someone give me some motivation to make it through TST. I've managed to read like, 10 pages in the last hour. It's so boring....

How far are you?  I thought it go better once they reached the Deep Roads.  So, if you're not that far you have something to look forward to.

The whole Rowan/Loghain senario didn't really make all that much sense to me.  The way she acts mid story it comes off as Loghain was definitely a second choice or passing fancy.  Then by the end they're head over heals in love.  Bah! 

I also loath Katriel... stupid Playboy Bunny elf swooping in to c*ck gobble up Maric.  Honestly the best part of TST is Shale and Wilhelm imo.  I liked learning some background on the both of them.

Ahhh thanks, I already finished that before I installed IA. Kasha just finished the landsmeet so...no sword for her. Alexa has a shot tho.

The armor you get with the sword is also pretty cool. It's massive but looks heavy.

I didn't mind the Loghain/Rowan thing.  She was lonely, and he was the only one who really saw her for her.  With everyone else she was always playing a role.  *shrugs*

As for Katriel...that was sort of her job.  What I liked best about her character was that she knew what was going to happen in the end, yet did what she had to anyway.

She's a first class skank imo.  TC did nothing to improve my opinion of her either.

Edit:  Fiona is in The Calling.  She does Maric's personal quest and hardens him.  XD

He actually doesn't sleep around during TST.  He justifies to himself that Rowan never wanted the arranged marriage in the first place and that she didn't love him.  Though he knows when he actually thinks about it that this is false.  He's smiten by Katriel... she's very beautiful, exotic, etc... Other than her the only person he has sex w/ is Rowan in TST.  In TC the only person he has sex w/ is Fiona.  

Maric was devastated by Rowan's death.  He wanted to die... he says as much to Fiona.  So, unless he was having a lot of angry emo sex I don't see him sleeping around much during that time.  After Fiona, maybe.
