But how does it explain why he's there? It could be a gamebreaker for me. If he was running away to rebuild the wardens with me than thats cool, but as king not so much.Thor Rand Al wrote...
Conversation for romance scene with Alistair in Vigil's Keep
Alistair: Something you need, my dear
PC: I think it's time I gave you the... private tour.
Alistair: I think I can guess what the highlight is going to be.
PC: Let's just say you'll appreciate our lampposts in winter.
It was rather cute lmao

Call Katriel beautiful one more time... I didn't get that she was ~beautiful~ with ~honey colored curls~ the first thousand times.

You know what's strange? I think I have no idea what Severan looks like. Arguably a character that is as important. Does anybody remember what he's described as looking like? Is it, "Just some mage?"

Dunno. He isn't beautiful with big boobs though, or we'd have been reminded every other line.
Maybe he is a big beautiful bear with magnificent man boobs. We'll never know. They forgot to mention, and now we can make him whatever we want. I'm going to imagine him as Meatloaf from Fight Club.yukidama wrote...

It's a LOT harder to fake a pregnancy and birth than to prove who the daddy is. Just sayin'. This is why they used to have witnesses at royal births, to make sure there was no switcheroo.
Eamon, Teagan and Fergus would be suitable witnesses... just saying. No one would have a reason to doubt any of them. If there needed to be a mage present Wynne or Anders would be suitable. It's definately do able.

I mean that I think it has to be high. My blood mage was not popular with her, either, since she admitted to killing Caridin.
Shale still returned to Orzammar even when you didn't kill Caridin? I can can just use a Feast Day gift to boost her up to close to 100 if I need to.

Someone give me some motivation to make it through TST. I've managed to read like, 10 pages in the last hour. It's so boring....
It is your duty as a faithful Alistairian to finish The Stolen Throne.
Go, my daughter, and be joyous in your duty.
Yes, ma'am. I'd rather run around Denerim with my pack of Ser Pounce-a-lots though :[

How far are you? I thought it go better once they reached the Deep Roads. So, if you're not that far you have something to look forward to.
I'm on page 155, it is taking me FOREVER to read it. I think it may be because I pause every scene where Loghain and Rowan are together to roll my eyes for a good minute.
I wonder what the actual ruling part should look like. I'm not sure most of us even understand what it means. I'm not sure Bioware knows what that means. I'm afraid we all have a rather modern view on what ruling a country should be like.Thor Rand Al wrote...

Can't read TST either. I have it here but I've stopped reading after Maric met Loghain. I wanted to punch Loghain immediately. I flicked through the pages and read the end ... when Katriel met her fate ... and Rowan accepted hers. Then I wanted a sword to decapitate him right then and there.sylvanaerie wrote...
Yea I couldn't stomach the Loghain Love fest that is the books. The Calling seems more and more interesting to me though having yall talk about it on the boards. I am curious about Maric. He's more my type of guy not that skeevy Loghain.

I really don't like Loghain. I don't even like him when he's supposed to be likeable.

Lol, ILU Alistair but I find it creepy too. Not the idea of the scene, really, but the fact that they couldn't narrow his eyes a bit and make him not look all bug eyed and uncanny valleyish. He's just all 8|

For example, I thought holding court would be once a month, not on a daily basis. Also the King wouldn't jump at everyone's whims immediately. Without instant messaging things go a lot slower. Spending a week or two at the Vigil before traveling to the Bannorn in order to look all kingly and important? Entirely possible.
The cameo is cute but it doesn't work for me.

It reminds me of Cullen! Must be a templar thing.
I wanted to say none of the cameos work for me so far, neither the mod nor the original one.LadyDamodred wrote...

Yeah, the cameo lines would break it for me for a couple reasons. One, it doesn't really sound like Alistair, although the Warden Alistair with the darking darkspawn does, and two the king one would ****** my character righ teh eff off.
