I was looking at my elf in armor last night and the proportions do bother me. But, I think what I want is not for her shoulders and boobs to be smaller, but for her to be taller and have fuller hips to match them. The really narrow hips are what bug me. If I make her upper body smaller, it just adds to the look of scrawny that bugs me about the elven body shape.sylvanaerie wrote...
BTW TMP I downloaded your elf proportionate armor clad mod and my elves look SO much better now. Thanks!

I have never been able to. If I ****** off Anora, I pretty much have to set Vaughan free (being mindful of the fact that, after the Blight, I should still have a trained assassin in my services) if I don't want to brawl at the 'Meet.

tmp has a mod that fixes some lopsidedness in the look of elven females in armor.LadyDamodred wrote...
I should perhaps be more specific and ask what the elf proportionate armor thing is?

Well now that you say that, I do see that her arms are too long for her body. WTH Bioware?! Dwarf arms and female elf arms, too?sylvanaerie wrote...
I liked his fix cause it doesnt make her arms all gangly and awkward sticking out like they do in Vanilla. Hoping the human female one will help with that too. Hmmm I think since I saw that yummy Ser Gilmore and wanted to do another HN I will just head in and check out a rogue.

Yeah, I know. The ironic thing is when I finally do sit down and write, I can't stop. xD I need to find that balance between thinking and writing, apparently. So you can just imagine how agonizing a wait it is for people I do forum RPs with; it takes so long for me to get responses in. xDLadyDamodred wrote...

Haha, yeah, I know. When I'm in the groove, I'm in the groove and stuff just flows.
Anyone have a handy link for the armor thing?

No I don'[ tthink so. I had all votes except the one for the Trial of the Crows and I still lost 5-2. So even if you miss just one, you won't win.
Well, that explains why I've never been able to win without Anora. I didn't even know there was a vote from the Crow quests. Those aren't ones that a 'good' character could do, are they?
I don't usually have Vaughn, either. I tend to leave him locked up. I killed him once, but it kind of bothered me that she did it through the bars without even opening the door....

It's a little shady, but most of the marks are Loghain and Howe operatives so you're actually fighting for your own cause. But, at the behest of an assassin organization. Delineate the morality as you will. (Edit: Oh, and the vote you gain in the LM is because you help a nobleman whose young child has been kidnapped. So the morality of it all is not cut and dried.)errant_knight wrote...

No one objects, that I've found, but Wynne. She just gives a mild approval dip, maybe -1.
It's obviously interesting to take Zevran along when you meet with Ignacio.

Heh, that's so true. I love Bryce, too. I'm always a mess after seeing him in the Gauntlet. Too much of a daddy's girl myself.sylvanaerie wrote...
LOL I had actually forgotten how much I adore Bryce! What a wonderful NPC! My favorite scene with him is him getting between an armed/armored Duncan and staring him down at the thought of taking his "pup" to be a GW. I see where the PC gets "The Look" Howe found so intimidating from. (and mention it in my fan fic)
I love the scene later on in Fergus' room. It's heartbreaking because you know what's coming, but there is so little family normalcy in the game that the little glimpses of it are sweet.

Kasha did it last night. I never free Vaughn (though sometimes he appears anyhow? wwtf). I got every vote but the guy that never votes for the wardens, Anora marched in saying I betrayed her blah blah blah. I had the trial of crows done, saved Ser iminric, talked to the two in the tavern after that (One about his son...Dragon's peak, which he gets you extra votes and Alfstanna about her brother). And in the landsmeet did...
1. the blight is the real problem here (persuade check)
2. You allowed howe to torture nobles
Then in response to murdering a man in his own home, went straight to Oh? What about sending a blood mage to poison Eamon
That brings Alfstanna and the Revered Mother in. At that point even if Anora betrays you, you should have the landsmeet.

Yep. The first time I left them there in the castle, I was totally tearful. MY PC never has to be conscripted, though because Bryce tells her to go, and my female Cousland does what her daddy says, even if she argues a lot.

Where does Howe mention it? I don't remember coming across it in the game, but it's most likely because I made different dialogue choices.sylvanaerie wrote...

Papa Couslaaand... ;3; Is it just me, or does he sound more affectionate when addressing a daughter than a son in the origin story? I could be wrong as I've only witnessed the initial conversation on a HNM, but from there I could detect a greater sense of adoration from his tone with a HNF. Yes? No? Just me?

When you confront him at his estate, and use the Persuade option to talk about being a Grey Warden. There may be other dialogue choices that prompt that comment, too, I'm not sure.nranola wrote...

If you use the Persuade or Intimidate options when you see Howe in huis dungeon, he'll say "There it is again, that damned look in the eye that marked every Cousland success that held me back."
And I feel way more affection from the entire family on a HNF.

The really creepy thing is that even if you kill him, his ghost still shows up at the Landsmeet.errant_knight wrote...
The thing about Vaughn is that if you aren't going to kill him, you might as well get his vote. It's not like someone isn't going to let him out once Howe is dead. He's still the hereditary Arl of Denerim.
I can't not kill him. Dude just has to die.
See, I really do fail at action shots. Or is this a win??
