I can't not kill him.  Dude just has to die.

Dude just has to hand over his key to the lockbox and then die. Usually.

See, I really do fail at action shots.  Or is this a win??

Unqualified win.

The thing about Vaughn is that if you aren't going to kill him, you might as well get his vote. It's not like someone isn't going to let him out once Howe is dead. He's still the hereditary Arl of Denerim.

Ieeeeee!!!!! Er.... No, sorry. ;) It's a Ferelden underwear ad. ;)
If I played an elf he'd probably die, even with the uncomfortable shiving through the bars, but it doesn't seem right for my HNs
Edit: So.... Why is Alistair the only one in his underwear?
I'm guessing that the underwear thing is like the beard, something I just don't get.... ;)

So...how awful is the zev slide if you do the political marriage ending? Kasha's almost done, she just needs to grab Shale and head to redcliffe. Celeste is in the deeproads, So I'll probably turn to Alexa the new Cousland warrior when the deep roads starts to hurt.

ejoslin can give you the full 411, but as I recall, the crux is whether Alistair is hardened or not.  If unhardened and you're chancellor and princess consort, you basically run the country.  If hardened, femCousland gets the "adored bride" slide.

Is that a serious question?  LOL

I take it that you haven't been around the thread for the Naked Barbarian shots.  The thane helmet is present in that shot, I assure you.  Just, um, not the focus.

I swear, I did not take that shot on purpose.  On my honor as a Surana.

He better not adore her, Zev might be tempted to assassinate him! Hey...that could be convenient..

Ugh...my female warden commander armor isn't working. Bet it's IA again.

Hmm... that's interesting. I never remember getting any persuade nor intimidate options with Howe during my two playthroughs as a HNF. Which would be fail on her part, having gratuitous amounts of Cunning and all... '8D Will definitely need to play around the dialogue options in this run.

With regards to Vaughn, as much as I'd want to, my HNF won't see a reason to kill him. Even if she knew of what happened between him and the elves I don't think she'd feel it to be her place to impose judgment upon him. On my CEF, well... he doesn't live long enough to experience life behind bars. >3>

Maker's breath, internet is so slow here at home... I want my computer (and Dragon Age) baaaack. ;3;

In your first dialogue choice, do you ask Howe why he betrayed your family?  IMO you get a more satisfying conversation, and even some approval bumps from party members like Morrigan and Zevran, if you go the snarkier route, i.e. "Glad to disappoint you.  It won't be the last time."

My HNF was on her last nerve at that point in the game, and she took the opportunity to maker the world a little nicer.  Afterwards she was like 'I probably shouldn't have done that', but she wasn't really sorry.

And I love hearing that line from Howe.  Even though he was evil and she wanted him dead, he and Bryce had once been friends.  And to hear that her dad would have been proud of her was something she desperately wanted to hear.

And, oh god, the Gauntlet.  ( ._.)

Yeah, I think I went for that option. The one where you ask why he betrayed your family having been friends, right? I'm still contemplating whether or not that would be true to her character; I play her as the witty wily sort, so I imagine she would have already put two and two together by then and there would be little point in asking the "whys". Might just go for that this time around, if only to hear that "look" line. xD

Apparently the Fem warden armor mod isn't compatible with Improved Atmosphere. Sad:blink:

You're lucky you don't have Baturla (what?) Natural Bodies at the moment  - otherwise you would be melting the thread.

You'll typically get the invisible thing when the game cannot find material (a .mao file) assigned to that item. It is weird that would only happen for this armour on a female though, because typically both male and female massive armour use exactly the same materials.

*frowns at Alistair* Does he have to have a certain approval or something before he asks to find Goldana? Do we have to go to Redcliffe before he'll mention it?

Ahhh, okay.  I'm going there later, getting other stuff done first, like the ashes, and I'm all 'Why hasn't he asked me yet?'

Also, the villagers in Haven didn't attack me after I looked at the bloody altar, so it's weird to actually talk to and trade with the shopkeeper.  XD

It's a mod conflict. The female warden commander armor replacer doesn't work with Improved Atmosphere. It's ok though, I guess...i'll just stick with good old massive models. The runic set looks ok at least.

Bloody altar??  Where is that?

I usually try to snoop around in the shop to provoke the conflict in Haven.  I figure my PC smells the body in the back and is suspicious.

*pulls on her hair* I can't believe this comment. It's like they are saying that Alistair's vanilla dialogue is my fault. If you prefer ADP, then use ADP, I am not offended. But don't chew me out over it.

"I've finally got to the part of the game where this mod can be used my first impression was http://thenexusforum...cons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif/sad.gif"> not sure at all as my characters face looks just a tad gruesome which it isn't in the game play. Also I really don't like being called 'my dear' it's like we have turned into some frumpy middle aged couple over night, I much prefer the ADPatch for that alone, at the moment every bit of me want's to reinstall ADP, is it possible to change that dialogue?

One thing I found quite off putting is the back drop which is obviously Morrigans area in camp, it makes me feel we are in the open and everyone can see and I'm not sure I can get used to that, only time will tell.

I will persevere a bit longer as it would be unfair not to."
