There's something I don't like about the IA Alistair... it looks artificial somehow.  The vanilla Alistair is grittier.

truth be told I like the scruff you get with IA's Alistair.  If I could have vanilla with JUST the scruff I would but its either Maricstair (Which my mind won't wrap around on a HN, I've tried) or Anderstair (who I just couldn't handle either).  Or Vanilla which well I REALLY like the scruff dang it!  Its SO SEXY!  I just wanna nuzzle those scruffy cheeks!

Vanilla with scruff can be easily accomplished

LOL NOT for the toolset illiterate like me it can't.  I have to take what I can find.

Anywhere between IA's scruff and that pic of Anders up there is good.  I just want 5 o'clock shadow, something that seems like he has to havve it cause they just can't keep up with keeping him shaved every day.  (Nothing so extensive as Daveth but something close to Anders is good).

Ok this is all just speculation here. But I was going through some of my screenshots of certain conversations and I ran into the Guardian one. On this playthrough I told the Guardian that "My answer is my own, Guardian" when he asked me if I thought I had failed my parents. Alistair's response was "Now you got me curious about how you really feel." He's already hardened, and the romance scene was already initiated.

Could that response of his be to the fact I won't talk about my parent's or maybe there's a deeper meaning to his words about everything that's been going on, (maybe the relationship) since I won't open up to the Guardian.

I guess the person who's playing could take it however they wanted. When I saw that it kind of got me to thinking and had me curious lol

I think all the NPCs have stock phrases there.

THE IA stubble on Vanilla Alistair would be perfect...IA Alistair example...

I dunno, I think vanilla Alistair looks fine for his age. Considering how and where he grew up, I think it makes sense for him not to look as young as his actual age. He still looks plenty young to me.

I always tell the Guardian STFU. Alistair gives same response regardless of when you do the Sacred Ashes (I did it first on my Dalish, before ANYthing else).  So he was unhardened, and I didn't know he was Maric's son at this point.

That was my first time of telling the Guardian that n of course my first time of hearing Alistair's comment to that, so I didn't really know. 
It be nice if you got different responses from Alistair regarding where you were in the relationship with him lol

Its more about introspection.  First time I tried it was on my HNF (Valora) who was very stoic and resisted the relationship with Alistair for a while.  I liked it so much (esp what Bryce says if you do) that thats the response I give now all the time.  As I do Sacred Ashes at all crazy kinds of times I have had him unhardened, pre Goldanna, pre Redcliffe, After Goldanna/Redcliffe...lol at all kinds of times.  He says the same thing regardless.

It kind of would be nice if he had different lines but I guess that gets into more money for Steve Valentine and more codes of programming?

Does IA Ali have scruff??  Now I have to rummage through the thread and find a screenshot.  He seemed more cleancut to me, actually.

Edit:  Oh wait, there it is.  Hmm.  I think it's the eyes.  The black kohl look.  Or something.

the eyes are lighter in color.  Its just enough to offput me a little but not enough to ditch it entirely (because I REALLY like the scruff).

Ok, gave him the exact same settings for the facial hair as the IA morph. I think the 'stache is a bit dark, let me know if this is ok or you want something changed.

Yup, I'm 22 but people think I look like I'm in my mid teens still. Many  young people have more mature faces and the opposite is true as well. The only changes I can abide by are facial hair, lol.

It just makes more sense to me. You live on the run from Loghain's men, trying to fight darkspawn, get the treaties done and who the heck has time to make sure you are cleanshaven at all times...
