You took my daughter - our queen - by force. I did ... what?

Somehow, I think any taking of Anora is by force.  Methinks she is one frigid b*itch.  Just another reason she never marries Alistair EVER.

Let the duel begin:

Did y'all realize that in the panning shot of Fort Drakon, where you see bloody bodies piled up on the torture racks, you can clearly see the bodies of Mother Mallol and Ser Gilmore? :(

*has never noticed this*  Are you sure or are they just similar models?  I can't imagine Gilmore made it out of Highever alive.

I noticed Ser Gilmore's face but I always dismissed it as model recycling.

It's unmistakable.  They are piled right on top of each other, I'm pretty sure we're meant to notice them.  Cuddlezaro has a screen shot, I'll see if I can cop it from him.

Edit:  Oh, and I interpret this that Howe tortured them to get fake confessions about the Couslands' "treason" with Orlais.

@Addai- Lovely Landsmeet set! The only have a few decent shots from the Landsmeet with Alistair in it, sadly.

Aw.  Well, here's some more for you.  But with these- and I'm totally ripping off jenovan for this idea- you have to be listening to Battle Without Honor.

It is my absolute most favorite poem, and in general, I hate poetry. I first heard it from a history professor in college. He would end class every day with a poem and this one always stuck with me. I hadn't thought about it in a long time, and I was looking through my bookmarks just after the Alistair Sacrifice ending and oh my god... That one line just summed up *exactly* how my character felt.

"So it is, and so it will be, for so it has been, time out of mind" <--- while not good as a stand alone line, there's just something about this line that gets me. Something with the phrasing and the cadence and what it says makes my heart ache.

I never did that ending myself, but I can understand how it fits. And the rose line as well - something the PC to tell Alistair.

:alien:

It's what she whispers to his tomb at Weisshaupt just before she leaves.  *bawls*

I cannot bring myself to ever do this ending.

Omg... The piled up bodies were hard to miss, but I didn't pay that close attention to them. Poor Ser Gilmore... :( Yes, a screenshot would be nice.

Sheesh. So many people want to avoid the tragic endings. I strongly recommend you do them at least once.

Churl? When does she call you a churl? *does not recall that*

I never kill Cauthrien. I understand her duty, and I cannot blame her for it. But this scene irritates me when she has no right to be saying that to Alistair.

I kill her when she tries to arrest us. Breaking out of Fort Drakon is fun but it doesn't always fit into my roleplaying, so I challenge her at Arl of Denerim's estate. Very satisfying. :D

Hell of a sodding fight, that. But when she calls me a churl, or calls Howe "the Teryn" thats it for me.

Yet another disturbing image given us by the natural bodies mod.
OMG! It IS them!

Thanks for the pic though, I never actually noticed that, but then again I only surrendered once and wasn't paying much attention.

Huh. Well. Yeah.

I guess it's a good thing my character didn't actually see them. *goes to cry in a corner* ( ;_;)

Ok got a killer screenshot to upload to photobucket, but the stupid thing says "file type not supported." Any theories?

Poor Ser Gilmore... Poor Sister Mallol... :( Thanks for sharing; never would have noticed that up until someone pointed it out.

*raises hand* I had trouble with the Ser Cauthrien fight. o3o But I figured I was doing something wrong. Apparently if you run into the room Anora was held in the rest of the soldiers won't follow so that should make the battle a whole lot easier. This info would have really come in handy back then... D: The best I did in that battle was take down the mage and about half of the archers.

Open the image in paint and just resave as a jpeg.  Same thing happens to me.

I play on easy because I am a total noob, but usually I just have my mage put everyone to sleep and start my rogue and Alistair and whoever else is with me hacking away individually lol. Repeat as necessary, etc. I am a big fan of Entropy magic because it pretty much stops people in their steps and lets me kill them fast :innocent:

Oh, for sure.  It is a tough fight.  Blood magic helps a lot.

Yes, that is what I do.  A couple will follow, but it's manageable.  You then have to go face the big room of archers and mages, hopefully with some AoE in your party.

Or serously overpowered armor and weapons, which I don't like doing. Mage, sleep, blood magic. Good plan! Could use mana clash on the mage, but my game would crash.

When I tried the first time I was actually surprised how easy it was once I had the right tactic. Now it's only long and boring.

If Alistair sacrifices himself to kill the Archdemon, do you get the tomb/funeral cutscene as well? I have scoured through youtube to find it but I am only able to find the US Warden scene but none show Alistair as the 'dead' individual.
