It's nothing special actually.  It's when Morrigan is talking about how her mother should of saved Cailan instead of the two of you.  You can respond by telling her you're a noble.  She'll reply with basically an oh, well then.

Hmmm, the only dlc I have is RtO stuff.  No modded gear for me.  And I suppose I *could* go without healing.  *ponders*  Meh.  I suppose I just have to live with being ridiculously awesome.

If you elect to ask her questions before going out to talk to Flemeth and Alistair. Outside in the same conversation line as bringing up y0ur family you can also say you have to find Fergus out in the wilds. I usually take that option (yes I give Alistair hell at first about the whole GW thing then fall in line quickly as there isn't any other option but to do so).

AND where ARE the aforementioned Teagan gratuitous nudity shots with the wand o' fun?  hmmmm ?

That is in Lothering though, isn't it? I'm talking about Flemeth's hut

nope its right outside flemeths hut.
You have the option to bring up your family OR talk about finding Fergus in the Wilds. Can't do both though.

Its when you say "Alistair is the real GW here" and he responds with "Don't quit on me now" line> then you can say "My family jsut died" or right under that is "I have to find Fergus in teh Wilds."  Flemeth even has a funny line there about searching the entire wilds being some feat.

It's actually a pretty funny line with her. She's talking about how she would have rescued the king, as he'd have gotten a higher ransom. You  get to say "you know I'm a noble right?" and she says "Oh, I stand corrected then".

M: Mother managed to save you and your friend, though 'twas a close call.  What is important is that you both live.
M: The man who was to respond to your signal quit the field.  The darkspawn won your battle.
M: Those he abandoned were massacred.  Your friend... he is not taking it well.
PC: My friend?  You mean Alistair?
M: The suspicious, dim-witted one who was with you before, yes.
M: He is outside by the fire.  Mother asked to see you when you awoke.
PC: I have some questions, if you don't mind.
M: I do not mind.  Take your time.
PC: Why did your mother save us?
M: I wonder at that myself, but she tells me nothing.  Perhaps you were the only ones she could reach.
M: I would have rescued your king.  A king would be worth a much higher ransom than you.
PC: I happen to be nobility, you know.
M: I stand corrected.

Oh. And this thing with Alistair is sooo sad. I can't believe I never heard this before. Is there any other human noble specific things that I am missing out on I wonder?

Personally I think playing the HN is the most rewarding of the origins.  I've found that a majority of the important NPCs in the human realm recongnize you.

Sorry Lady Jess, I disappeared for a bit.  You find the helmet by doing the Chasind Trail sign quest in the Korcari Wilds.  You have to find all the X marks on the map first.  The helmet will then appear in the camp near where you find the pouch of ashes on the dead soilder.  It's in the tree trunk.  A plot helper will appear once you've found all the markers.

The HN gets a lot of recognition compared to every other origin.  Even the DN upon returning to Orzammar is only recognized by a few NPCs.  

Off of the top of my head the NPCs that will know who you or your father is are:
Cailan
Loghain (Ostagar)
Jory (he has a dialogue choice where you can tell him your father was Teyrn of Highever)
Bann Teagan
Ser Perth (option to tell him who your father was)
Wynne (when she asks how you became a Warden)
Bann Sighard
Bann Alfstanna

I can't remember off the top of my head if Bann Sighard's son recognizes you or not.

So far using IA I'm liking mom's clothes.  Fergus definitely looks better equiped for someone getting ready to leave for a battle.  I hated the clothes I started out in as you can tell lmao.  But so far I'm liking IA.
