I sent my HNF to The Pearl a couple times, after she broke up with Alistair for the sake of the kingdom.  You have to LOL at the whole experience, though RP-wise it was a dark time for femCousland.

Of course, I had to go back and give her a happier ending because of the buggy end game.  I was going to RP that she changed her mind and decided to marry him, thinking I would be able to re-start the romance somehow, but Alistair kept talking like they barely knew each other and that he hated her.  *trauma*

This is stupid. It's an "alternate" reality. WHY do they refuse to give us more to our characters stories? They didn't give us much continuity in Awakening, and now this? I won't be wasting my Bioware points.

I'll probably buy it if for the only reason that I'm curious as to how Alistair would of done as the last Ferelden Grey Warden. I'll bet it will end up being like Awakening w/ a 2 min Alistair cameo then all darkspawn.

AU=alternate universe?  I'm a doofus with these acronyms.

More Alistair anything is potential awesomeness or potential disaster.  But I hope we get a choice to play as Alistair or another Warden rather than just as a darkspawn.  Teh evil is really not my thing.

Ironically enough, I wrote a short about Alistair being the only Grey Warden left in Ferelden, and what would happen if the PC had died....can I just say I hope we don't share an ending?

It's really an immersion killer. Morrigan would NOT be there, she's there because of YOU. Ugh, stuff like this makes me wonder why I'm even bothering with any more warden stories.

I don't want it unless it adds to Origins, period. I have no urge to be a darkspawn. I also have no urge to kill Alistair. They are dropping the ball to me, Awakening was for me a huge disappointment, and this, I have lost a lot of confidence. I don't want standalone content.

I'm interested. I like Alistair enough that I wouldn't mind playing an alternate-history story with him in it. I felt a bit burned after Awakening, though, so I'll probably wait and see on this one.
