Why would Morrigan be with Alistair? He didn't want to bring her along! Immersion murderer. Any Alistair hater would love this though, they get to kill him?

Really . . . a Darkspawn DLC, but no fix for patch 1.03 and no DLC for Awakening.

Wow, BioWare . . . just wow.

I know BW probably have seperate teams working on seperate projects, but I'd put them on fixing bugs and making DA 2 as great as DA 1 was . . . not some nonsense alternate story to draw in extra cash.

I love Alistair but I can't see him doing well on his own.  He had only been w/ Duncan for six month when he arrived at Ostagar.  That wasn't enough time to undo all of the damage that Eamon and the Chantry had done to his self-esteem.  Alistair only becomes a good King and leader because the PC helps him believe in himself.

As for Morrigan being there.  I would think that w/o the PC to either seduce or manipulate then she would of had to resort to trying to seduce Alistair.  Morrigan even says to the PC the DR is the real reason she was sent w/ Alistair and the PC.  So, we might even see a Alistair/Morrigan romance.

It's a stand alone so, it might not add anything to Origins.  It seems like it's focused on the final assult during the Denerim siege so, it probably won't be more than an hour long.

Am I wrong about the romance though? Think about it, Morrigan is willing to even sleep w/ Loghain. Perhaps I'm in the minority but I don't believe Morrigan leaves if you deny her because she doesn't want to see you die. I believe that she leaves because she pissed to have come so far only to lose what she truly desires when it's in an arms reach.

It's an alternate universe and Alistair is commanding, so the Darkspawn might win.

Not to mention darkspawn weapons are generally HIDEOUS.

I have to admit I'm actually curious now.  If Morrigan was the only "positive" influence in Alistair's life during that time he would of ended up a much difference man.

I get the AU thing, so maybe you will win.  But...poor Alistair!  He's leading the Wardens, therefore they fail?  That doesn't say much about his leadserhip qualities and ability to make a good king.

Edit: New DLC? play as Darkspawn and Alistiar becomes the leader of the Grey Wardens oh boy.....why do I get a bad feeling about this..

It's a darkspawn hack n slash dlc. As it's an WHAT IF story it has zero impact on any story or progression. Whats the point then? I want stuff that expand the main story and add to it, not some senseless nonsense like this.
