As for the DLC, it's all about the $ and seems like a sensible business plan.  You get a few hack n'slash players, the Alistair haters get to kill him and/or cackle about how he could never possibly command, etc.

Face it:  It's so not about us.  We should just go back to posting naked Alistair pictures.

Now that I think about it, maybe Alistair is happy because I lost some of these edits.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that BW would never do anything as foolish as pairing off Alistair and Morrigan, even as part of a What If? A huge amount of the appeal of the romances with both of them is that your PC is their first love, it would detract significantly from that if it came across as "Oh, it turns out they would have fallen love with whoever they ended up traveling with, so your PC was not that special." It seems a bit mean-spirited.

I think you're right. WE aren't the ones they really run a risk of losing. Because they know, those of  us deeply invested in the story, and in our characters and companions, are going to stick around, waiting for what happens next for US. We're the ones still replaying the game, after months. Even with all the disappointment we're still here. Me, mainly because /I/ cannot seem to find another rpg that even comes close to DA:O. The ones they're trying to keep ahold of are the ones that have played it through once and move on.

Yep.  If we're pathetic enough to post on these forums every day, we obviously have no lives and need no great marketing scheme to win over.  That's why I'm still mad at myself for spending 40 bucks on Awakening the day it was released.  It would have been worth 20, but not 40.

I'm just using IA's head morphs right now.  If I come across anyone I think is poorly done I just redo them myself. 

I love what IA did to the Bhelen/Harrowmont encounter when the PC first enters Orzammar.  The armor it puts them in is perfect and it really made the scene have more impact.

The redesigns?

I changed Morrigan and Leliana with and older version both look much better, I prefer Leliana with the bangs.
