I couldn't get the shield to match either. Not sure whats up with that.

I LOVE Moonwing. That armor is so hot. I have the winter forge and plan to wipe the AW restriction so my warrior can use it.

Just deny her as politely as possible. Tell her that you will stop the blight, but you don't need her help.

This is my view.  I mean, it's entirely possible that if the PC died that Zevran would have succeeded in killing himself, Leliana would have died a meaningless death in Lothering muttering about her vision, etc.  But there's nothing saying that without the PC in the picture, that it had to end up that way.  And Alistair is no more fixed in his character and behavior than any other NPC.  He is changed by the Warden PC because he/she is there.  If he/she isn't there, he'll be changed by that fact, and there's nothing saying that he would change for the worse.

We've been talking about it. 

What do you think of the prospect of an implied Alistair/Morrigan romance?  Since they're golems in the ss obviously he isn't the innocent unhardened Chantry boy anymore.

No i wasn't. There was actually a new version of GWR released AFTER the retex mod, mine was solved by renaming the .erf's in the retex folders (texture2.erf for example.) the shield still is gray though, sadly.

Okay, I very very very rarely ever blatantly promot my own fics, but this one is so appropriate to subject that I'm going to at least toss it out there, because its my take on how Alistair would handle things if he was left alone.  It's a semi-one-shot, one chapter, if anyone's actually interested in reading.

Incidentally, it's also my take on his ability to go on alone and whether or not he'd be able to handle the challenge, and how his thought processes might change being alone as opposed to being with the Warden.

Alistair didn't know the PC well enough to form an emotionally attachment by Lothering.  He'd be mourning the death of Duncan as well as the other Wardens.  Personally I don't find it hard to believe that an unhardened Alistair facing the Blight as the last Grey Warden would turn down Flemeth's help in anyway presented.  He'd have no choice.  Alistair is under no illusion that he would be able to single handedly stop the Blight. 

Also take into consideration that this DLC is happening at the final battle.  There would of been plenty of time for a possible relationship to have formed between them.  If he truly hated her in the AU he could of sent her away.  I suppose it's possible that he begrudgingly accepts her help the whole way but I find that hard to believe.  Much like our PCs if nothing else some kind of friendship would probably form between them.
