His approval dip is really not very big.  I don't worry about little whinges like that.  The way I look at approval/ disapproval, it's not necessarily personal against your PC, it sometimes expresses general unhappiness with a situation.  So RP-wise, Alistair is going to be unhappy about you bringing an assassin into the group even if he's not there for the ambush.  Numbers wise, it is so easy to get Ali to 100 that this blip means very little.  Anyway, the way I see it, no relationship is without its ups and downs, and an argument over a command decision is bound to happen.

That's my problem, his happiness, I hate seeing that unhappy expression lol.

Heh, just make sure you leave yourself a romance starter in the dialogue.  You can get "do you stare at everyone like that" even after you've broken up with Zevran, in fact, and it will turn the romance back on.  So potentially you could grease the bronto early in the game, break up for Alistair, let Ali dump you, and go back to Zevran whining about what a fool you were etc.

If your Warden is that kind of girl, y'know.

Haha, that reminds me of my brother. When I started playing the game and Alistair and Morrigan started bickering in the background he said: "They're gonna end up doing it." Little did he know.... he's also a Morrigan fanboy now, haha.

Is it wrong of me that I actually ENJOY it when Alistair starts freaking out over me killing that cow Isolde?  I love sending Morrigan in the fade using Jowan's ritual.  "Oh yes don't bother asking me of course I will go as I am your willing slave" lol but I only lose 1 point of approval with her for that solution.

For my HNF, Alistair went everywhere with her, for various RP reasons.  If she were being really rational, he wouldn't go into the Deep Roads with her.  Way, way, way too risky to take the last two Wardens down there.  Other characters leave him behind, but she couldn't face it alone.  Ahhh, co-depenency.

I broke up with Alistair once. It was at the doors of Fort Drakon's roof when he and my PC were engaged. It was probably my zillionth time fighting the Archdemon that night since I was testing something, so I was kind of irritated and took it out on him

speaking of invisible barriers, I have one in my Throne Room at vigil's. It has the inspection icon over it as well if my mouse goes that way...lol

Zevran's breakups are as tearful as Alistair's.  Maybe more, because in some cases it's literally life and death for him.



I'm determined not to play a love triangle anymore unless my PC is going to end up with Zevran and I'm trying to give Ali his first time with a supportive fellow Warden as opposed to Morrigan.  The lads look so heartbroken even if you break up with them early in the romance.  People say that Zevran is a man-****, but he looks so sad even if you tell him after the first tent trip that it can't happen again.  And we don't need to know how bad Alistair sad-eyes are.

The only way I can possibly do what I'm thinking is to do it as a city elf. It would take ALOT for her to fall for a human after Vaughn, and after losing Nalaros (I'm sorry but he is one good lookin elf my CEF warrior had serious love at first sight). But she would, because of everything they'd been through together. Probably right up until she discovered he'd been lying. Or maybe she could live with the explanation, and freak out when he dumps HER post landsmeet. Then run to Zev.

It was also a save where he was gonna become kibble for Archie, so he had killed himself about 10 times prior to that :x Funnily enough in the one where I broke up with him the game crashed before the battle ended. His angst killed my game!

Haha, yukidama is a remnant of my anime days. I picked it randomly and since it's usually available I use it everywhere. I'm not too picky about what people call me so if it's weird just make something up xD
