I went without a rogue in one playthrough so I could do a 3 mages and their pet templar runthough. It was tons of overpowered fun and the only place I really missed Zevliana was in the Deep Roads.

The way I see it (if I'm to get philosophical), slight changes like that emphasize different parts of Alistair's personality.  The boyband hair is his boyishness and casualness (LOL as I recall Shale saying "next we can talk about your personal hygiene"), while an older look is his firmness, the bits of romantic suave he manages by accident, and the kingly qualities.

But it's only different hair and a little scruff, not any complexion changes.  The same person can look younger or older depending on clothing, hairstyle etc.  I understand it's just your preference, but it's not really OOC.

Whoa! When can you tell him that?????

When you get inside the cave you can talk to him. he tells you he's nervous, and you can say "talk if it makes you feel better" and he'll ask why you're there.

Pony tail is ok, but for the most part I hate long hair on men.

I might have to take the tattoo off of my DEF. Which I'm reluctant on doing because the tattoos are a big part of their heritage and I also want to show that. Ah, decisions, decisions...
