cmessaz, I ran through the LM breakup and made a new save at the gates, but for some reason it is not showing up in my game save folder for that character. I even went back in and made another save, and neither of them show up. Any ideas what's going on?
And, OMG... I've never done the breakup where you tell Alistair he'll make a good king.I kind of agree with the haters that it's pathetic that this game is still able to bring actual tears to my eyes, but there it is.
Oh geez I just got my dalish through the origin and I'm ready to chicken out already.

This face is killing me. Oh SFM, why do you have to be so handsome?
Double your pain/pleasure.

Ugh, and the conversation at the gates... *sobs quietly in a corner* Why is it that you get the best dialogues if you leave an NPC behind?
BTW, both of these Sad Face Maricstairs are courtesy of telling Alistair that he'll be a good king, after you've both agreed you need to break up. He is saying here, "But I'd give it all up to have what I really want."

Gray is the color. Grey is what you usually see in names and is in fact what is used for the Grey Wardens. Ugh. From what I've seen in the toolset, spellings are American.
Nah, they're both the color, Americans just tend to spell it with an A.
Yes. This is what I said. If you spell the color gray as 'grey' it'll get marked wrong on your tests. Just saying.
No, in Canada both are correct, and both appear equally as names. In fact, my assumption has always been that the 'Grey' in Grey Wardens referred to the color. Were they named after some guy named Grey?

Yes, although it completely conflicts with the card about him studying governance and being a good King.
Maybe the mod flagged something oddly and it's carrying over even with it disabled?

-.- *points to where she said "all the spellings appear to be American"* I am aware they can be used interchangably elsewhere. I'm just saying in a game where the spellings are set a certain way, and the name is always 'Grey', that's a pretty big screw up.
Why are we even discussing this? More Alistair!

Yea my first girl (Rhiannon) I pushed it all the way to pissed off Duncan. I literally wanted a scene where he arrives in Ostagar with the PC over his shoulder kicking and screaming. lol wouldn't that have been a sight for Cailan to see as he walks up to greet them.
I wonder what it is about the Dalish that brings out the best in Duncan and Cailan? I found the king to be quite charming on my Dalish girl.

All I was saying was that it can be difficult for Canadians to ignore their ingrained spelling habits, and things like that happen....

@addai. Yea this morning I did a run through without the DR to see some lines of dialog and Oghren's (100 at friendly) and Zevran's farewells at the gate made me bawl like a baby. Oghren talking about how my PC taught him how to be a warrior, gave him a new lease on life and restored his honor. Zevran saying we would shake hands in victory after this was all over (I didn't do the DR). good tissue moments..

Has to be after making love (I think) when he catches you at camp to confess his feelings, say "but you are going to be king" and then after he is done with his little thing say "It's either now or later, isn't it?" Also will vary somewhat whether he is hardened or not.LadyDamodred wrote...

D'aaaaw, I loved this scene, it is soo bittersweet. Knowing that you can't return anymore, and have live in the foreign shem's world from now on. Lenya was devastated
And yes Duncan had to drag my PC kicking and screaming away from her clan every time.

I literally wanted a scene where he arrives in Ostagar with the PC over his shoulder kicking and screaming. lol wouldn't that have been a sight for Cailan to see as he walks up to greet them.My current Dalish actually agreed when the Keeper pulled the Duty line on her. Duncan is quite gracious if you go willingly even by that point.
I wonder what it is about the Dalish that brings out the best in Duncan and Cailan? I found the king to be quite charming on my Dalish girl.
With Duncan maybe it's the "whatever it takes" attitude they have towards preserving their ways. Cailan poked my boob. Ho there friend INDEED shem!
Also, Alistair already got her...sigh.
He had her at hello, "wait, I do you know! You're Duncan's new recruit. The Dalish"
He is the only one besides Cailan that didn't just call her "the elf"
Ahh!! I'm out of Alistair shots...

Poor boy looks so shocked you'd say you'll enjoy traveling with him.:DB)
