Lady Jess, I can, and my pic isn't great as far as lighting and whatnot. But again, I do have the symetrical massive armor mod, so the shoulders and the gauntlets are smaller than in vanilla.

I was looking at the body itself, thats where I can't see any change, since I managed to not save a screenshot from vanilla massive.

Yeah, there doesn't look to be much a difference there. Maybe there is a conflict.
Excuse the bad grammar.

Fiona's eyes are described as "dark, elven eyes" & "dark, angry eyes" and "dark eyes" - so, I think that since he still distinguishes them as "elven" makes it appear to me that they are not like human eyes.  Perhaps they are different than most other elves because they are dark.

Who knows...that is just the impression I got when reading the books.

Yes, it appears that there is "something" about elven eyes that strikes humans as either eerie or beautiful or both, though it's not well defined.

I think the game engine can't show this kind of stuff very well, so I don't sweat it much with PCs, though I do like to give them the slanted eye shapes.

Like I don't think the game elves are that attractive on the whole, yet supposedly humans slobber over them.

Game elves can be cute but it requires a lot of Toolset tweaking. In the regular character creation screen they're a lot like humans w/ long ears.

Yeah, I don't find elven characters as attractive as they're made out to be in-game either.

Probably friggin improved atmosphere. I like what it does in most things, but I'm just about sick of it's conflicts.

Agreed completely.  Furthermore, the elves are the furtherest from their descriptions in the books.  Everything from their clothes to their tattoos to their appearance - it simply does not match what little descriptions given by Gaider.

I'm glad the ears are not too long!  Thank you, DAO designers.

Obviously this is just a cultural prejudice and not necessarily related to actual physical appearance.  It's the lure of the exotic.  I always figure there is something humans can feel in elves of their old immortality/ arcane power, and maybe as in Tolkien, they envy and desire this.  Hence why they both desire elves and why some take such sadistic pleasure in oppressing them.

Ok, how am I not getting this "funny outtake" think in the pearl?

When you talk to the female NPC, brag about what a great lover you are. Your partners will proceed to complain about how awful you are in bed. (The animations are exactly the same -- you just get different dialogues. Leliana will say eww, you're going through Morrigan's swamp!!)  =p

I recently downloaded a mod specifically so my elves could have big gallomping ears...I think it's cute! :P

Well and then there's the Architect.  Posted Image

I didn't remember there being differences about the tattoos and clothing, though.  Refresh my memory?

I'm a Tolkien snob and hate donkey ears.  Posted Image  I know others like them, though- I'm just glad the game doesn't force you to have them and that game elves generally don't, or else I couldn't play a DAO elf.

I'm guilty of liking bigger ears too. I like the medium sized ones.

Like WoW elves where they are so long it took me a while to get used to them.  I still couldn't play a male, all I would see is the ears flopping around Posted Image

How disappointing for a HNF. "Too hard on myself?" I had no choice!

LOL I tried that mod this morning (Teagan/Alistair). Since Teagan's liines are recycled from the encounter in Redcliffe I don't know if I will be able to do that again without giggling like an idiot.  I was laughing so hard I couldn't see the monitor screen!Posted ImageI think I would split a seam if I saw them b*tching about my performance lol

Is there any tattoos you guys would like to see done? I think I'm going to do a set of dragon ones and also maybe a set of tiara type looking forehead ones.
