Heh, that is if I am a mage.  As a warrior, it frustrates me beyond believe. The best thing to do as a mage is mana clash, assuming your PC won't CTD like mine will.

I've never taken the mana related spells.  There doesn't seem to be enough mages in the game to make it worth while.

My current mage is an anti-mage specialist, but I just took that for RP reasons.  It's frustrating that you have to take 3 nearly worthless spells to get to Mana Clash, but considering it's a sureshot kill for an enemy mage, it sure is satisfying.

Unfortunately the tactics are screwed up- I have her set to Mana Clash nearest visible mage, but apparently if she sees a mage anywhere on the horizon, she just throws Mana Clash on the closest genlock.

Damn this sucks. Am I the only one who can't use mana clash without their PC crashing? I LOVE that spell but I can't use it. My new mage is a supportive/healing mage, and mana clash would be most handy.

No, it's not just mana clash either. It's the bug that came with 1.03. Alot of PC users have it.

Well I think I'll remake my HNF warrior..dual wield tanking was fun, and my CEF has S&S so...heres hoping she survives the origin this time. Now...where did I put that morph.

It seems to happen more for me with Ali's templar abilities, Cleanse and Holy Smite.

Oh, I get it equaly with that.  I respec Alistair as a reaver. They broke the game, but are more concerned with creating bullsh*t DLC than fixing it. Well thats EA for you.

Well it depends which one really, there's few fixes for the dalish armour Posted Image  But the proportions fix does the same thing too, so that's why there may be no difference when it's installed with such mod.

Well you did good...my girls look all buff and shmexy thanks to your fixes. I always HATED the stupid tummy flab in the skimpier armor. Here you are, a rogue, or warrior, and when your belly shows, it's all undefined blob! Much better.

I think I have good gamer karma with Dragon Age after the hell and torment I had with Sims 3. Besides a random slowdown issue and occasional crashes, my game runs really well. I don't even have issues with the 1.03 patch.

Now I'm going to knock on wood and offer up some random NBM to the gaming gods:

My recent playthroughs I haven't used light armor, so I need to check it out with my new roque.

*flails* Argh!  I want to throw cats.  So many morphs to fix at the Dalish camp.  I'm never going to get through this part. :crying:

I never had any crashes prior to 1.03. Not once.

Nor did we.  It was very, very unusual for our game to crash.  I was actually quite impressed because not long before, we'd been hugely disappointed when Fallout 3 GOTY ate our PC and proved unplayable.  We had waited to get all the DLCs until the GOTY came out, too.

You have more patience than I. I really need to finish a playthrough, because the reason I haven't been messing with my mod is because I want to make sure I have all of the bugs fixed in my current version. Then I will get the next (hopefully final) Alistair version up.

My game only crashed once. It was after fighting Archie for like, the 10th time in a row and I had cast Storm of the Century. Then I mistakenly cast Mana Clash instead of whatever I had intended and my game gave me the finger and died.

I played Fallout on Xbox, DA is actually the first real big game I have ever played on the PC. Other than roller coaster tycoon Posted Image and the like, that is.

On the upside most of the NPC changes should be done if I play through again.  I need to edit some of the repeated NPCs.  I don't like the tattoos when they stand out to starkly on the Dalish.  I'm going in and putting them at like 50% so, they look more natural.

It really does! I think it makes him more killtastic. This shot isn't that great, just something I caught while pausing to cat wrangle, but I like the peek around the headless corpse.

I'll be sparing with the Maricstair since the photo you posted of Anders with the perfectly positioned Lamp post in Winter horns (sly sideways glance edition) is now my desktop.

She is a pro, that's for sure.

Ok for those Dalish among us:  Do you ever make up a story surrounding your tattoo?  Apparently the inks are supposed to represent the elven gods, so I am guessing certain tattoos belong to certain gods.  I guess making up a link like this would require I actually read the codexes on the various gods...
