TBH I have no urge to play an Orlesian Warden, so I don't know what ya'll are talking about.
Just try making a character in that character creator. Srsly. Try it once. Origins CC looks freaking awesome next to it.

Lady- Or one that makes the PC look the same in-game as they do in CC. Or that could be the lighting issue, as well.
It's definitely the lighting. To be able to actually see ture color the background would have to be true gray. Colors look different to our eye depending on what colors are around them.
The lighting itself makes characters look awesome. It's similar to the concept of fancy restaurants having low, warm light. It makes people look better. The problem is that you never see that lighting in the game. I really want a way to fix this.
That said, it's still way better than the blue light in Awakening. Wtf is up with that?
Edit: It makes Alistair sad, too.
It's like calibrating your monitor properly, then changing back to the default color profile suddenly everything goes from warm and correct to cold and blue...shudder.

You know, I really wish there was the dialogue line that would reflect what my HNF would actually be thinking at that moment.
"F*ck you, no! You do not get to this to me, to us! So, f*ck you and your duty! I am not going anywhere, and we are getting married and if you even look at me sideways I will f*cking gut you! *kisses*"

Quick, someone tell him that he can have it both ways!

I will always contend that BW has nothing on BethSoft when it comes to horrible CC environments. In FO3 you get a grainy computer monitor and in Oblivion you're in a dungeon. And, for both of them, you have to run almost the entire tutorial before you can check yourself out in semi-decent lighting. Bleargh.

So on a completely unrelated topic... I'm guessing this isn't news to any of you guys, but on my current playthrough I opted to spare Flemeth (first time for me!) and Alistair was giddy at the idea that I was betraying Morrigan and probably getting her possessed/killed later on.

Haha. He was so cute at the thought of it, but my character was like "You know, babe, that's probably a really horrible idea. Really, really horrible."

I'm so glad by the time I played a human noble I knew to land him at the landsmeet, otherwise he'd have dumped me. Which is silly, he could just as easily have a flag that says if king and romancing human noble female/in love then propose! Grrrr.

Being deceitful is part of Morrigan's charm!
Alistair is supposed to be the chivalrous knight in shining armor! Or something...

Lady- That is the scene I got when I didn't know what I was doing my first playthrough as a HN. I about cried!
I can imagine. My first character was a HNF, and I was checking something when I discovered that about the Landsmeet. And was really glad b/c otherwise I wouldn't have known either. Woulda broken my little heart.
Axekix: IIRC, you were the one who wondered about the appeal of playing a female char, correct? How are you finding it? (If I've mixed you up with someone, *channels Tim Curry* I apologize)

It makes me wonder about the new DLC a bit though. Before that I was almost buying in to the whole sexual tension theory (as much as I HATE the thought of them together...), but if he'd basically throw her under the bus like that I wonder how they manage to stay together without the Warden?

Some things are just to obvious. Aren't we glad that hardened Alistair has extra lines for a hostile female who wants to marry him?Lady Jess wrote...

Edit: ejoslin said so, it basically means that you get his approval up to 71 and then let it crash down to -28 again.

I think without the Warden, Alistair would rise to the occassion and take help where ever he could. After all, he lived because Flemeth and Morrigan saved him, so he probably wouldn't drive her off. He's all alone at that point. And after that, well, I don't think he would be an ass and would do his best to get along. As for Morrigan, she can't leave until she gets what she wants, so she would probably suck it up, grit her teeth and soldier on.

And as far as the death sentence, I don't really think so. She says that she can use Flemeth's grimiour (yes I know I probably spelled it wrong) to protect herself in the future. I have a problem killing her because she saved the PCs life. And she's captain Janeway.

Hahaha, yes! My PCs don't go down without a fight. Not that it really matters since they never stay broken up, but I'd imagine some of my more.... feisty PCs would need to have their weapons forcefully removed from their person during this scene.

Hmm, so in a way, the warden being there allows them to be extra vocal about their animosity... which leads to hurt feelings and more hatred. Without the warden... maybe they could become BFFs?!LadyDamodred wrote...
