Wait, we don't get the vanilla scene for first time? How freaky does Ali get his freak on in the medium?
I'd look but I can't find where he propositioned me.

The dialogue options almost killed me!
1. Careful, this could be an ambush. ... Indeed, the BannHammer is a powerful weapon.
2. We will need more of an explanation than that. ... About why he is naked?
3. Why don't we all go to the castle? ... And get comfortable?
4. You don't seem very concerned about waht's happened here. ... So you don't mind if we share, I take it?

DR went fine, no mention of people looking at him like he was king, no rats and cheese mentioned. He does mention "Does she want an heir to the throne" but I think that is just always there right? And with Morrigan the concern about her using his child against Ferelden.
There's no way to really get rid of that without messing up some of the opportunities for the counter. I don't think it's out of line -- even if Alistair denounces his claim for him and his children, he's still a Theirin.
Yeah I agree. I mean if Anora drops dead or something he's still next, denounced or not. Besides, doesn't the denoucing really only count for Anora's rule? While she's queen he denounces all claims, if she dies without an heir that agreement would be void.
I read one of your stories, soignee. I think it was the one about your character contemplating why they should be running after the Urn. I enjoyed it, I thought it actually did give me insight to what might be happening behind the scenes.soignee wrote...
I'm guilty of fanfic. It does have my Brosca bonin' Zevran, but it's not the plot. Romance= subplot. I've even written some Alistair/Aeducan shenanigans, I appear to have no shame...

I don't think so. Share? With ISOLDE????? I'd sooner share with the Architect. At least his voice is sexy.
He doesn't have a legitimate claim to the throne after renouncing it for himself and his heirs and since he needed the Landsmeet to confirm him the same way Anora does, if Anora should suddenly drop dead a month into her reign Alistair can't take the throne and they'd have to find somebody else.Lady Jess wrote...

As always, when I grouse about fanfiction, I'm not dissing anyone specific. It does seem to pay to be cautious, though. And anyway, I've got a to-read list longer than my arm.
I see far too much of this "Kaidan" person on Alistair's thread. Some re-balancing is required.

This means I would have to find something else for her to wear.
You know, I wish, I really, really wish there were just ONE store in Ferelden that sold clothes! Stick me and Alistair in some sexy duds before sexytimes.

The Landsmeet could, I suppose, re-legitimize him for the throne just as they can legitimize his claim in Origins. In the case of Anora dying without an heir, why would that not be a viable option, as opposed to the teyrnirs duking it out for the top spot?Sarah1281 wrote...
If just renoucing his claim weren't enough, though, why would Anora let him leave?

Edit: or Winter Forge.
If Alistair is exiled, though, any children he might have would be foreign and I'm not sure the Landsmeet would accept that so easily. And if he stays with the Wardens I'm not sure he would anyway. If it's a game with the Warden as a LI he won't have children with her (and if he did, unless maybe the Warden were a human mage and the child didn't have magic or a Cousland, they couldn't take the throne anyway). If not, he'd have to find a nice non-Warden to try and settle down with knowing he has decreased fertility, won't be around as often as she'd like due to Warden duties, and is going to wander off to Orzammar one day and not come back which might not be very likely.Addai67 wrote...

The Architect;'s voice makes sharing the Mother with him more tolerable.
BTW, who here thought that the Architect / Father and The Mother were a really disfunctional couple?
