For some reason, I went to the circle first to save the boy. I can't explain it. I just had some gamer vibe where it seemed like time wasn't an issue and I could just hop over to the circle and come back to that one later. I didn't have the nasty shock that people had about killing either Isolde or Connor.

My initial playthrough was bad. I hated Alistair, I was one of the "omg you whiny wuss go awayyyyyy!!" types, I killed Connor, I let Jowan free, The only thing that saved Alistair was an accidental click. I was trying to loot after Zev ambushed me, and clicked on Alistair and got an ambush of a whole different kind. I was like wait..I've told him to stop whining, I've ticked him off killing connor, I've barely spoken to him, just threw gifts at him to get them out of my bag (Not even the right gifts cuz I had o idea what that was about, nor did I know about backpacks!)  Then I thought ok, not so bad.

Right up until I had HIM execute Logain, he declared himself king, and broke up with me. Oh and I couldn't get him to do the DR after that, so I ended up really sad and deleted the whole character. Before I tried again, I read. ALOT!

Same here! I've never done it. I don't think I can.

My DNF lately did kill Connor, no rp-reasons just my selfish one ones xD Partly because I was curious and partly because i was too lazy to go through the fade scene again So yeah, Alistair was full RAAAWR afterwards. Though I find amusement in this scene where he confronts you.

Alistair: HOW COULD YOU DO THIS??? *raaaawr* and yell and rambles on and you just stand there thinks "Yeah everything will be fine Alistair - just you watch." When he's done, you pull out his mother's amulet and he is like OOOH, shiny and his world is totally okay again. Talk about distraction... xD

Lol I wish RS were THAT simple.

Others than that I always use the disney solution to the problem due to Alistairs sad puppy face () it's magical.

Though I really wish there would be actual consequences for leaving the demon alone to visit uncle Irving.

Just don't walk past Connor.  This forces the demon out and she attacks you.  It doesn't end well for Connor.

Speaking of no swords, I always feel badly for the templar guarding the Circle docks who has to punch people that attack him and other innocent bystanders. You think the Chantry could afford a rusty dagger or something?

Pah. A pity that Duncan wasn't alive anymore. He wouldn't have used his fists to fight the archdemon. His magical beard would have punched the AD dead alone.

I know!  Gonna try that tomorrow.  And then gonna sacrifice her. 

I've never actually hit her.  I've taken pretty much every other route with that quest but... I can't bring myself to attack such a delicate flower.
