I'll never be able to do that scene, keep Loghain. That look on Alistair's face is just horrible. 2 reason's I'll never be able to spare Loghain, I hate him and I could never do that to Alistair lol.

My first couple of times playing when I first played a male warden I still couldn't do that to him. We were bud's and then I made the mistake and started playing a female warden and now I'm hooked lmao

I did it once and that was with my first male playthrough, just for the stupid achievement but I'll never do it again.

As a human noble, let me explain why I do not like to spare Loghain: He may not have been directly responsible for my family's murder, but he knew about it and gave the title of Teyrn of Highever to Arl Howe. He knows about it, too because you can talk to him in Ostagar about it. So he is almost as guilty as Howe in my eyes. He rewarded my family's murderer. And Cauthrien can take a flying leap off the tallest cliff in the Anderfells. Calling me a churl.

My main HNF is not the sort to smooch on Ali in certain situations. The gates of Denerim is one of those, since I feel weird with all the soldiers that are looking to him and my PC for guidance. It's doubly sad because a) I leave him behind and part with "I don't plan on dying" rather than anything romantic. I decided on my last playthrough to throw caution to the wind and go for it. Of course there would be Private McStares-a-lot in the shot:



If it wasn't for the armor/crossbow, this would be my favorite Ali screenie that I've ever taken. I just like the feel of it:


And, to my great joy, I discovered that helms are on during the duel cutscene. Score!

I think after I finish editing my current project, I might see if there are any cute shots when Alistair gives you the rose.  I'd imagine there are aprolyl a couple good ones in that cutscene.

Oh I never executed Alistair, but I did spare Loghain and made him kill the AD.  I'll never be able to do that one, executing him.  Oh hell no lmao

Hmmm, I love scale for my HNF war, and I really like veridium colors.  Geh, I need a way to just buy it easily in game b/c I still don't know how the hell to get sets of certain levels of generic armor.

You know, I try to explain this to my students.  They're not quite old enough to understand, however.  There's something compelling about tragedy, especially when it involves love.  I've had long discussions with them, using LotR as an example and how the Ring Bearers are all corrupted.  I think I used the example of a piece of paper that's been written on, and then erased.  No matter what you do, you can never restore that paper to what it was before.  It's forever marked and changed.  DAO has come up in those discussions.

I was a good do-bee and did not call one of them a liar for saying he beat the game in 4 hours and then sold a used game for full retail price on ebay.  >.>

Beating the game in four hours is impossible, even with unlimited skill books, insanely over-powered gear and Armageddon spells on easy difficulty. Even then it took me nearly 15.
