I don't know anything about a pretty dwarf generator. Gilsa might. I just took the dwarf face I liked the best and tinkered with it till I got something I liked.  I was referring to the plot I had to replace all their water coolers in Bioware offices with bongwater.  Its making them release this PoS DLC they got coming up next week...yes blame it on me!  If you play a dwarf for a little while you get over the arms thing rather quickly.  Before I blew up all my saves (because I have been modding, unmodding switchign things around and making a mess of my game files) I had gotten to the Joining part and didn't notice her arms anymore.

It was a mod, I've seen it but can't find it now. But I'll TRY. I still can't figure out the rp, but as she is gorgeous if I do say so myself, I'll give her a chance. Romance seems unlikely. But I do like how she is looking back at Gorim. She has this whole "seriously??"  look going on.

If you use that mod (or just copy over the arms from that mod), you can pretend you have shorter arms if you play without the gloves. Here's the difference:

Oh you can just steal the arms? that might work. If not, I'll live...I like my Dwarf curves:D

And just FYI, if your character sleeps with Alistair first (instead of waiting for him), you get the following line instead:

Alistair: "You're the first woman I've ever spent the night with, and if I have my way you'll be the last."
Dwarf: "My being a dwarf doesn't change anything?"
Alistair: "Of course not. Don't be ridiculous. If anything, I was wondering if I was too tall." (VO: sweet)

If you wait for him to make the move:

Alistair: "I don't know how to say this another way. I want to spend the night with you. Here, in the camp. Maybe this is too fast, I don't know, but... I know what I feel."
Dwarf: "Even though I'm not human like you?"
Alistair: "Chuckles Especially because of that." (VO: amused)

Thanks! And it's that second convo there that has me giggling uncontrollably, because he says THAT and I'm all "hmmm...yes, I don't even need to bend over"

Nope. You have to be a masochist (or a dwarf lovaaaahhh) to complete a dwarf game at this point because of all the awesome kisses and sex scenes being limited to humans and elves. That's why I tend to suggest people just trying out a dwarf in Awakening because it's a shorter game to try out a new race.

^There is something awesome about having a full group of dwarves. I keep Velanna as the 4th member mostly because they're all written by the same writer and have this great dialogue going in which Oghren is just screwing with Velanna's mind about where dwarf babies come from. Sigrun even goes along with the joke, laughing with Oghren behind Velanna's back once she figures out what's going on.

There are only two hairs that I actually like on men, Alistair's hair and Duncan's hair. Sticking Duncan's on Alistair would be too close to Anders (and for some reason that would bother me more than Ali having Cailan's hair does).

Exactly. I love both characters enough independently that I'd feel squicky making them look too much alike.

I tried. But I couldn't upload a character because of "story.xl" whatever it is. How can I remedy this?

Change the avatar pic in the character creator and wait for it to upload.
