Heh, I never do it. It just doesn't say 'romance' for me to have the PC doing the dirty with another person besides the LI and maybe without them involved at all. I actually find it pretty OOC that Alistair would go along with it at all, hardened or not.SurelyForth wrote...

I don't usually do the threesome when I romance Alistair, but that doesn't stop my PCs from bedding her anyway as a sort of pre-commitment fling.

Did you get the 2nd earring offer? Did you have ejoslin's gates dialogue fix?Mel_Redux wrote...
I did not enjoy the Zev romance at all, I really felt like there was nothing to it. Maybe that is because I did the Alistair romance first, and it can really effect how you view the main story and its consequences. The Zev romance is felt like a lil' something on the side.

I'm a fan of Zevran's romance. It's not as central to the story, true, but very well-written and engaging on its own merits. He has some touching banters with other NPCs, for instance, such as talking with Shale about having children with the PC.

I like how Morrigan rejects the idea completely. My kind of girl

As I'm reading more about it, I think I may have screwed it up. The first time he gave it to me, I told him I didn't want it unless it meant something. But he gets all pissy and a huge approval loss, so I reloaded thinking I messed up, and never got another earring offer since I already accepted it. Looks like I'm supposed to reject it the first time? And definitely didn't notice any banter with other party members, like I noticed when I was in a relationship with Alistair.
I'm on xbox, so no mods for me

Yeah you tell hyim the first time you won't take it unless it's a sign of affection, he gets cranky, you lose some approval. Ejoslin wrote a guide for the whole thing. It was a huge help.

There are some tricky things to Zevran's romance, just as with Morrigan. This is one of the things I like about it, that it is so complex. ejoslin has a Zev Romance FAQ.
Really? He has a lot, and some of them are very nice. Shale's are probably my favorites. And definitely didn't notice any banter with other party members, like I noticed when I was in a relationship with Alistair.
Bummer! In the vanilla game, you get Zevran's Friendly responses at the gates rather than the Love ones.I'm on xbox, so no mods for me

Another reason to wait for my PC copy before doing some things, like a Warden Alistair ending and the Zev romance.
A quick question - for those of you with the character creator and the PC version - do they have the same graphics? i.e. is what the trailer looks like on the character creator what the game looks like for you on your PC? I'm trying to decide if my laptop has what it takes to play the game and make it look at all decent.

Yeah! I think that's what put me off so much about the romance. After the gate dialouge, I wasn't touched by what he said, I was pissed!! After all that, THAT'S all you have to say to me? Jerkface.
Nice to know there is a fix that I will never experience

That's heavy dwarven armour model i think. You could just equip the regular one and maybe use the magic wand or whatever mod it was that allowed to paint things gold?Lady Jess wrote...
How stupid is this. I liked the armor in my origin so much, now that it's been stripped from me, I don't want to go on:(

I think she'll be the first character I've ever liked in that style of armor. I don't like her in massive so much, unless I can find legion style. Man the DN rigin really drives home the feeling of loss. Beats even HN rigin.

Did you make yourself the chancellor, though? If you do, then Eamon is still free to return to Redcliffe and then have another child. It's only if he becomes chancellor for Alistair that the slide won't show because he's too busy with politics.AnniLau wrote...

I got this one on my first playthrough, didn't realize it was supposed to be rare
Checking the Toolset, one way to miss out on this slide is not to allow Anora to rule single-handedly and not getting yourself appointed as chancellor -- the game focuses then on Eamon staying in Denerim as the chancellor and eventually handing Recliffe over to Teagan.
Uh, I married her to (hardened) Alistair and got it.

There is YouTube, I guess. I thought the Zevran romance got short shrift at post-coronation, too. His responses there seem more appropriate to friend than lover. No purring like Alistair's "at any rate, I can't wait to be alone with you," no "I was so afraid I would lose you."Mel_Redux wrote...

Don't hate Zevran for the crappy game coding.

It really depends on the character I'm playing. Only had Alistair convinced to do it once. My canon playthroughs prefer to outwit her than bed her, and would never get whether in a romance with him or not at that stage. It depends on how straight I play them, or if they have curiosity to adoration for the same sex.
Personally, I would have prefered threesomes/foursomes that involved more males, since I really have little interest in sharing with other females. But, well, i can sort of udnerstand the reasoning, and since there are far more young male gamers than female ones, they had to cater to the larger audience.
And most males certainly, at the least, are a bit more favorable towards the idea of two chicks/one guy than the opposite.

Skadi wants some sammich action!
I think most straight guys have an irrational fear that if their penis accidently touches another mans in a threesome than he'll be gay.

I'm way too straight myself to enjoy this even in theory (I mean, why would you, when you could have a man? LOL) But even so, they could have made Isabela more appealing. Or is that just me?Skadi_the_Evil_Elf wrote...

Then again, I feel no need for more male 3-ways, either. Like I said, Morri has the right idea. Sharing toys is for grade school.
